🍦✨ April Fools’ Day calls for a little extra fun… and we couldn’t resist a sweetly silly twist on our weekly ice cream social! 😄

Would you dare try a scoop of “Broccoli Blast” (it was actually Mint Chocolate Chip) or “Spicy Salsa Surprise” (Strawberry)? 😉

From “Pickle Swirl” (Vanilla) to “Pancake Batter Blend” (Cinnamon), our playful ice cream flavor names brought lots of laughs, curious taste testers, and a few brave souls willing to try the unexpected… and we loved every minute of it!

Thank you to everyone who joined in the fun, shared a laugh, and made it such a memorable afternoon. Life is better with a little humor (and a lot of ice cream)! 🍨✨

🌟 Our talented Eventide Resident Bell Choir performed in Eventide Skilled and Long Term Care last week, then again for Eventide Memory Care residents today! 🤩

We played springtime and Easter songs, and concluded today’s performance with “Jingle Bells” for a little April Fools Day fun! 😄🎄

Crafting time is always fun and a great way to relax. We made these awesome floral cross wall hangings! They turned out so beautiful! 🤩

“ Life is meant to be lived as a celebration!” 🥳 🧡 💙

A HUGE thank you to everyone who came out to our pie and coffee social this week! We had another full house. 20 pies were made and we had 6 pieces left!🤗

We celebrated our new name and logo, enjoyed delicious pie together and had a dining room full of Pitch players! 🃏 We also had drawings for some new Eventide swag. I’d say they all wear it well! 😉 Lookin’ good! 😊

We love having the community involved in our events. We truly value your support so much and getting to know you better. ❤️

You say fun…we’ll be there! 🤗❤️

Thank you to The Grand Generation Senior Center for having Christine and I out for Music Bingo! We loaded up a busload of our residents and went to join in on the fun. 🤩

We moved and grooved to the music, sang along to familiar songs, cheered on the huskers and enjoyed the friends surrounding us. ❤️ It was so wonderful seeing so many familiar faces and meeting new ones!

Looking forward to the next time! Mark your calendars for a new bingo experience coming here to Eventide Prairie Commons…April 30th at 2:30! Something we’ve never done but are sure it will be a good time. More details coming soon! 😊

Out with the old, in with the new! ❤️

Change can be hard. But it can also give us a fresh and renewed outlook on the future!

18 months ago Tabitha affiliated with a company out of Minnesota. This company has the same beliefs, Christian based and is non- profit. Just like Tabitha was! We were pleased to find that when we did this affiliation, nothing changed here at Prairie Commons. Eventide does not want to change what is working in our market. Our community in Grand Island is more successful now than ever and we have reached 90% occupancy which is a huge success. Especially with our large building. 👏

👏 This week, it was decided to be one with Eventide. We are excited for the new logo, new name and what the future holds for us here. We will be stronger together!

Our staff remain the same, same great care, same standards, same love for our community and the same fun that our residents deserve! So when you hear Eventide, think of us here at Prairie Commons and our amazing home health and hospice teams. At the end of the day, success isn’t behind a name. It’s behind the team that helps build that community with heart, love and compassion. 🤗❤️
