The results are in! Thank you to everyone who voted! We tallied up the votes with our Facebook post and our resident voting and here are the winners for the 2025 pumpkin decorating contest!

1st place: Margarita pumpkin made by our maintenance team 🥇
2nd place- Oscar the Grouch made by our admin/ front desk team 🥈
3rd place- Scarecrow pumpkin made by our kitchen staff. 🥉

“ Not all heroes wear capes!” 👮‍♀️

A big thank you to our Grand Island Police Department and Hall County Sheriffs Department for hanging out with us this afternoon at our First Responders Music Bingo! We can’t thank you enough for all you do for us and our community.

We danced, sang and had a ton of fun!! And no…the party didn’t get out of hand…the cops were here!😁

Happy National First Responders Day to the ones who keep us safe. You truly are local heroes to us. Thank you! ❤️❤️

Happy Halloween week! 🎃🎃

We had a blast Friday night as we welcomed over 200 trick or treaters in to our home! The halls were filled with spooky monsters, witches, princesses, super heroes and a number of other fun costumes!

📚 We were excited to have award-winning Nebraska author Timothy Schaffert speak to us this month!

Timothy is the son of our wonderful Tabitha resident, Donita. He told us about his time growing up in Aurora, his career as a writer, and about the inspiration behind his novels.

Did you know we have a book club at Tabitha? Timothy’s book, “The Swan Gondola,” was our most recent book club pick. The novel is set during the "Omaha World's Fair" of 1898.

Tabitha resident and Book Club organizer Julie B. had the idea to invite Timothy to speak with all residents and we really enjoyed hearing him share about his career, novels, and the inside stories behind “The Swan Gondola.” He also showed us several antiques from the actual fair in 1898.

Thank you again, Timothy, for sharing your time and talents with us!
