Sleep Paralysis
Have you ever woken up feeling completely awake but unable to move, while sensing a heavy presence in the room?
That unsettling experience is called sleep paralysis. It happens when your mind wakes up before your body fully does, leaving you temporarily “trapped” in your own body.
Though terrifying, it’s harmless and usually lasts only a few seconds to a couple of minutes. Stress, irregular sleep schedules, and sleep deprivation can increase its chances.
📌 Tips to Reduce Sleep Paralysis:
✔️ Stick to a consistent sleep schedule
✔️Create a calm, dark, and quiet sleep environment
✔️ Reduce stress with relaxation techniques like meditation or deep breathing
Remember, understanding is power. Sleep paralysis may feel scary, but it’s just your body catching up with your mind.
