✈️ Travel is worth it — because 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗺𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻’𝘁 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗺𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀. They’re lasting 𝙞𝙢𝙥𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙩𝙨 on your kids’ hearts and yours. ❤️

When I asked my children what was their favorite memory growing up all of them replied with a trip that we had taken all together. It wasn't a toy or even their car when they turned 16 years old. Traveling helped strengthen our relationships, create common experiences that we can recall and live all over again later and helps shape the way we see others and the world around us.

Tell me: What’s a family moment you wish you could relive right now?

“I’𝗺 𝘀𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗜’𝗹𝗹 𝗳𝗲𝗲𝗹 𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗺𝗲𝗱.”

If that sounds like you, you’re not alone. Traveling with kids doesn’t have to be chaos.
Here’s one confidence‑building tip: Plan your entry and exit strategies — knowing how to leave a sensory overload situation gives freedom. It can be as simple as noise cancelling headphones or a quiet place to escape to. Knowing what you are going to do in advance helps increase your confidence and decrease your stress and anxiety.

🌿 Two Quotes. One Heartfelt Conflict.

There are two quotes I carry close to my heart:

✨ “Live for now.”
✨ “Don’t let what you want most be lost for what you want now.”

On the surface, they seem to contradict each other. But in my life, they’ve both become painfully true.

When I was diagnosed with cancer in my early 40s, it felt like the ground was ripped out from under me. At the time, my son was only 4. I had plans… time… dreams. Then came the blow that left me breathless—thousands of tumors throughout my body. No surgery. No radiation. No curative option. Just palliative care and no guarantee of how much time I have.

So yes… I live for now. I soak in the everyday moments that once felt ordinary and now feel sacred. I don't wait to make memories. I don’t assume I’ll have time later.

But then that second quote whispers in my ear…

👉 “Don’t let what you want most be lost for what you want now.”

What I want most is more time with my family. To love them. Laugh with them. To be present and leave lasting imprints on their hearts.

So I balance the two.
I work to care for them.
I pause for family lunches.
I cheer on every accomplishment.
I plan trips that fill our hearts, not just our calendars.
I make space for splash pad giggles, snuggly movies, and moments that will outlast me.

I’m living for now—but walking toward what I want most.

💛 Don’t wait. Make the memories. Hug a little longer. Say yes to presence.
Live for now… while working your way to what you want most.

And if you’re wondering how I’m able to create this life full of presence and purpose—even in the middle of uncertainty—I’d love to share. I turned my passion for family and memory-making into a travel business, and now I help coach other women to do the same.

We love to take road trips. Sometimes it is across a couple states and other times it is in out backyard. We are lucky to live in a beautiful part of Colorado where in just over an hour we can be in the mountains and in the snow.
I have found a way to be able to spend more time with my children and travel more without racking up credit card bills. I love helping other families do the same. We are not promised tomorrow, I am not longer waiting to make lasting imprints with my children.
How can I help you make those memories with your family?
