Spring is definitely in the air at Solstice Senior Living at Grand Valley 🌸✨

At this week’s Art Workshop, residents decorated beautiful wooden dragonflies to pair with our wooden flower creations — and the results were absolutely stunning! Each dragonfly had its own personality, colors, and creative touch. No two were alike, and that’s what made them so special.

There’s something about bright paint, laughter around the tables, and a little imagination that makes us all feel ready for warmer days ahead. 🦋🌷

Art Workshop continues to be a favorite each week — full of creativity, connection, and plenty of smiles. Spring, we are ready for you!

What an incredible month exploring China through our Grand Valley Passport Program 🇨🇳✨

We “traveled” across China through vibrant slideshow adventures, learning about its rich culture, breathtaking landscapes, native animals, and traditional foods enjoyed across the country. Residents loved discovering fun facts, meaningful traditions, and the symbolism behind Chinese New Year greetings and celebrations.

From thoughtful red envelope reflections and fortune cards to our festive Chinese New Year Happy Hour complete with delicious hors d’oeuvres, February was filled with culture, connection, and celebration. The lobby was full of laughter, curiosity, and wonderful conversations as we explored together.

Tomorrow we close out our China journey with “2026 Wishes for the Year Ahead” — a special time to reflect, set intentions, and send hopeful wishes into the new year as a community. 💫

Thank you to our amazing residents for embracing each Passport Month with enthusiasm and heart. You truly bring these cultural adventures to life.

🍔🥤 Lunch Bunch at Jimmy’z Hamburgers 🥤🍔

Today’s outing took us to Jimmy’z Hamburgers — and it did not disappoint! Amazing burgers, delicious milkshakes, and the kind of meal that just makes you feel good from the inside out.

But as always, the best part wasn’t just the food — it was the company. Sharing laughs around the table, swapping stories, and enjoying time together is what Lunch Bunch is all about.

Great food, great friends, and all the good feelings a good meal can bring. Already looking forward to the next one! 😊

National Margarita Day at Solstice Senior Living at Grand Valley was one for the books! 🍹🎉

The lobby was filled with music, laughter, and that unmistakable sound of glasses clinking. Residents gathered together to sip, sway, and celebrate — and let’s just say, the smiles were flowing just as freely as the margaritas.

There’s something special about good music, great company, and a little lime and salt to bring everyone together. It wasn’t just a happy hour… it was a whole vibe.

There’s something pretty special happening at Solstice Senior Living at Grand Valley… and it involves one big word and a whole lot of brainpower. ✨

Our 24/7 “Words Within Words” board is always up and always growing! We start with one big word — and challenge everyone to see how many smaller words they can create from it.

The best part? It doesn’t end when the activity does. Residents will walk by later in the day (or the next day!) and say, “Wait! I thought of another one!” and head straight to the board to add it.

It’s friendly competition, mental exercise, teamwork, and a little bit of obsession all rolled into one. And we love it. 💙

Who knew one word could turn into thousands more — and spark so much fun?

Our residents transformed simple wooden flowers into bright, beautiful works of art — each one completely unique and full of personality. From bold colors to delicate details, every piece reflected the creativity and ingenuity of the artist behind it.

There’s something special about watching imagination come to life around the table. Laughter, conversation, and a whole lot of talent filled the room. Art Workshop continues to be a favorite here at Solstice Senior Living at Grand Valley — and it’s easy to see why.
