🐾🍀 A Touch of Ireland at Grand Valley 🍀🐾

We had a special visit from Deb Murray and Tammy Barslund, who brought their beautiful Irish Setters, Annie and Zella, to share with us during one of our Ireland-themed activities!

These sweet pups stole the show — residents absolutely loved spending time with them, giving plenty of pets, and enjoying their gentle, friendly nature.

We feel so lucky they came to visit and brought a little extra Irish charm with them. Thank you, Deb and Tammy, for sharing Annie and Zella with our Grand Valley family! 💚

🍀🎶 St. Patrick’s Day Party Fun! 🎶🍀

Our St. Patrick’s Day party was absolutely fantastic! From great music and amazing food to a packed room full of energy, it was a celebration to remember.

And of course… we had the best bartender in town 😉🍀

The turnout was incredible, the laughter was nonstop, and the fun was off the charts. We may have had too much fun… if that’s even possible!

🌸🎨 Art Workshop: Spring in Bloom 🎨🌸

Our Art Workshop was full of creativity as residents painted beautiful flower pots, getting us all ready for the season of spring!

Each piece turned out completely unique, with different colors, designs, and personal touches — yet every single one was equally beautiful.

It was a wonderful time filled with creativity, conversation, and a little extra excitement for the warmer days ahead. 🌷

🥢🥟 Lunch Bunch at Taste of Chang’an 🥟🥢

Last week’s Lunch Bunch was full of flavor and adventure at Taste of Chang’an! The food was absolutely delicious, and the experience was even better.

Judy brought her adventurous spirit and joined Lynna in trying the hot pot buffet — sampling everything from meatballs to the largest prawn either of them had ever seen! 😄

There were plenty of laughs, great conversation, and happy plates all around. It was a wonderful outing, and we’ll definitely be returning soon!

Grand Valley ✨🦋

Our tiny caterpillars have officially entered their next stage and formed their chrysalis — and now the anticipation begins! Soon, these little ones will emerge as beautiful Painted Lady butterflies.

Residents have been stopping by daily, watching closely and checking in on their progress. The excitement and curiosity around this transformation has been so special to see — everyone is patiently waiting for that magical moment.

This is our second year doing Butterfly Watch, and it’s safe to say we love it just as much (if not more!) than the first time. There’s something truly amazing about witnessing this journey together.
