2nd Chances require work
At 2nd Chances parents are held in the highest esteem. Therapists will see your child one hour one day a week. You will see your child 168 hours a week. It is a better use of our time and expertise to teach parents how to reinforce at home, the concepts we teach their children in our one hour weekly therapy sessions. Additionally, there is no other person that is more influential in our client’s lives than their parents, we recognize and honor that here at 2nd Chances.
That being said, we will not “fix your child” without “fixing” you too. If your child receives services at 2nd Chances, you will as well via our parenting groups or other modalities of treatment. We meet families where they are, sometimes figuratively, sometimes literally. If you can’t come to us, we’ll go to you. We do not want to help in one area of our client’s lives only to cause harm in another area i.e. pulling kids out of school for weekly therapy sessions, will negatively impact their grades so we meet them at their school during their lunch. If you need us to be there for you after hours, we will do our best to accommodate. We work hard, but you will work harder. We go above and beyond at 2nd Chances because we are men and women of integrity and honor and are called to higher standards of conduct then are other people.
About Raynee Gloden
I am the proud owner of 2nd Chances, and creator of the Mask Program/Integrity and Honor Program. I am a Christian and I love my heavenly Father very much. I do not intentionally insert God in my conversations nor will I ever keep Him out of my conversations. If you work with me, you will hear about God and what He’s done for me.
