Dr. Evan Bumgarner will join the office October 4th. Dr. Bumgarner is a native of Grand Junction, Colorado and received his Bachelor’s in Health and Exercise Science from Colorado State University in Fort Collins, Colorado. He went on to receive his Doctorate in Chiropractic and his Master’s in Sport Science and Rehabilitation from Logan University in St. Louis, Missouri.
Dr. Bumgarner grew up as a three-sport athlete who graduated from Grand Junction High School. His primary focus was always baseball, so he followed his love of the game to play two years of collegiate ball in Nebraska. His love and passion of sports followed him into his professional career. He became introduced to his field after mentoring a chiropractor after graduation who showed him how to use these attributes to give back to the community through health and wellness.
He believes that the combination of chiropractic and physical therapy are essential in pain relief, pain prevention, wellness, and longevity. Dr. Bumgarner is skilled in treating a variety of people of different ages, lifestyles, activity levels and ailments.
Dr. Bumgarner loves the outdoors and staying active. He spends time hiking and exercising with his wife Kelsey and their black Labrador, Wick. Although he no longer plays baseball, he is still an avid fan of the game. He now also enjoys playing sports like golf and softball.
