Happy Thanksgiving from Grand Villa Assisted Living!

Today we pause to celebrate gratitude, togetherness, and the simple joys that make our community feel like family. We are thankful for our wonderful residents, their families, and our dedicated team whose compassion shines every day.

In observance of the holiday, our office will be closed on Thursday and Friday. We will return to normal operations on Monday, December 1st.

Today community celebrated in cozy style with Jeans & Scarf Spirit Day as we gear up for Thanksgiving tomorrow! From colorful scarves to comfy denim, our residents and team embraced the fall spirit with big smiles and lots of cheer.

We’re grateful for the moments of joy, connection, and laughter shared here every day. Wishing all our families, friends, and loved ones a warm and wonderful Thanksgiving! 🦃✨

🍂🦃 Spirit Week Shenanigans at Grand Villa! 🦃🍂

We’re kicking off Thanksgiving week with ALL the cozy vibes! Yesterday was Pajama Day, and even though we totally forgot to snap a photo (we blame the comfy pants 😄), our staff and residents were living their best snuggly lives.

But today? Today we turned up the cozy dial with Flannel & Plaid Day! From bold buffalo checks to classic flannel favorites, our community was looking like a fall fashion catalog — and loving every minute of it! 🍁

In this season of gratitude, we want to extend our heartfelt appreciation to our wonderful Grand Villa team and wish everyone a truly beautiful Thanksgiving!

We’re especially grateful for the staff members who chose to donate their turkeys to families in need this year. Your kindness makes a real difference.

All donations were shared with the Palisade Church of the Nazarene Food Pantry, helping support our neighbors during the holiday season.

Volunteer Spotlight: Curtis 🎉

This week, we’re celebrating someone whose kindness blooms just as beautifully as the flowers he brings—Curtis!

Nearly every week, Curtis donates and delivers stunning fresh flowers to our Grand Villa community. Our residents love curating their own bouquets and filling the dining room with vibrant colors and the wonderful scent of fresh blooms. It’s become a joyful ritual that brightens their days and brings smiles all around.

Curtis’ generosity, warmth, and huge heart mean the world to us. Our residents light up the moment he walks through the door, and his visits have become something they excitedly look forward to.

When he’s not spreading joy here, Curtis is serving guests over at Bin 707. If you have the chance, please support him and show him some love—he certainly deserves it!

What a wonderful week at Grand Villa! 🇺🇸

We were honored to celebrate our very own Veterans on Veteran’s Day by taking them out for a special lunch at Applebees. Although they were a little camera shy, we still enjoyed every moment of seeing their smiles and hearing their stories!

Our residents also explored the Museum of the West, where they enjoyed an interactive look at the rich history we’re so proud of here in Western Colorado. It was a day filled with curiosity, laughter, and great conversations.

We’re grateful for these moments that bring our community together. ❤️

A huge thank you to everyone who braved the rain and joined us for our very first Trunk or Treat! The turnout was fantastic, and we had such a great time celebrating with you all. We’re already looking forward to next year—fingers crossed for clearer skies! 😜
