FEMA will begin accepting applications for COVID-19 funeral assistance on Monday, April 12, 2021, through a dedicated call center. Do you qualify for FEMA funeral assistance? Answer a few questions to learn more.

If you qualify, the federal government is reimbursing up to $9,000 for funeral expenses related to a coronavirus death. Applications for the FEMA COVID-19 Funeral Assistance Program will be accepted starting April 12, 2021. Learn more about the program and how to apply.
