Alliance partners with communities to address the real, often hidden, issues at play that create inequities by organizing the right people and resources to come up with solutions that improve the lives of individuals in marginalized communities. What we do:
Since 2001, we have increased the ability of over 7,500 mission-driven leaders and organizations to transform communities through training and strategic advice. We help nonprofits and communities by:
• Building a new generation of leadership
• Developing and implementing actionable plans to grow impact and financial resources
• Communicating value to a diverse group of generous givers and funders
• Connecting organizations to other parts of the community

We help investors put their money where the impact is by:
• Developing, executing, and monitoring a strategy and plan
• Identifying organizations to partner with
• Assessing the impact of current or potential grantees
• Working collaboratively to improve organizational effectiveness and sustainability

We are deeply saddened to share the passing of our esteemed Founder and CEO, Sherrye Willis.

Sherrye Willis was a respected leader, a passionate advocate, and a guiding force whose impact will continue to be felt across our organization, the communities we serve, and the many leaders she faithfully supported. Her legacy of service, compassion, and unwavering commitment leaves an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of knowing and working alongside her.
