Will comply with insurance companies for funding 🧯💃

A surprise request from the insurance company to put a cover on the system that’s not in use and hang up fire extinguishers. At first, I thought it was silly, but I get it: protect your investments at all cost.

Building a solid foundation requires attention to details that may seem small, but it matters. So today we celebrate our new fire extinguisher in our building: Ben Cannoli. That’s his name, the OG of Grand Prairie. 😂👑

I didn’t even realize an old script was playing until I watched this video back.

We are all a rooted function. Sometimes our patterns show up in ways we don’t expect, like when my app malfunctioned today and delayed my recording by 30 minutes.

In that moment, my nervous system remembered how it felt to be a little girl trying to dream big while feeling like the world was against her. Throw the whole app away is what I was thinking and plagued by my own thoughts 💭

But I caught it. I offered my brain a different path: gratitude for the opportunity to help Black women navigating job loss and entrepreneurship. Minutes later, I was dancing for joy. Some might look at that and say it's crazy, but I just had to tell that old script that it doesn’t exist anymore.
