IMPORTANT UPDATE:

Plushie Night has been relocated to the Cascade Library Branch tonight due to a water main break. A huge thank you to KDL!!!

Come find us in the history room or ask a librarian for guidance. The event is free, but cash donations or payment through Venmo at -Stark help cover the cost of materials.

Gentle reminder, stuffed animals are not provided. This event is for making crafts & accessories for a plushie! Kids are encouraged to bring their own plushie along!

The HRA Food Drive continues!!

This week, we will be making food donations to North Kent Connect

We appreciate every single item that is donated! We have been told that there is a significant need for baby formula currently, as well as diapers and wipes. If you happen to have any extra cans of formula that are not expired, or are able to pick up an extra to donate, it would be SO appreciated by the caregivers and babies in our community who are struggling right now.

📣Meet Dr. Hannah Brown, PsyD!📣

Dr. Brown is a licensed clinical psychologist at HRA. Her clinical expertise includes psychological assessment and therapy for a range of neurodevelopmental and psychiatric conditions with adolescents and adults. Dr. Brown specializes in general psychological assessment, as well as ADHD and autism assessment, utilizing flexible assessment batteries. A primary goal of the assessment process is to provide diagnostic clarity for treatment planning and greater self-understanding. In therapy, Dr. Brown's primary area of expertise includes treating anxiety and depressive disorders, in addition to other emotional or behavioral needs. Dr. Brown utilizes a flexible treatment approach to meet each client's unique needs in the present moment. While the initial focus of sessions is establishing a therapeutic relationship, she utilizes varies techniques from cognitive-behavioral and client-centered therapy approaches.

Dr. Brown was born and raised in Southwest Michigan, living in Kalamazoo as a child and then Holland for college. While she loved her time in Indianapolis for graduate school, she could not stay away from the beautiful state of Michigan for too long. She now loves living in the Grand Rapids area with her family, finding the perfect mix of nature and city-life. In her free time, she enjoys being outdoors, listening to audiobooks, and eating good food.
