Storytime- My husband and I once had a boat. It was incredible how many people we hadn't heard from in years who wanted to come hang out with us on it. Even the creepy DISTANT relative that no one wants anything to do with because he has such creeper vibes reached out to us to spend time on the 4th of July. Ummm, no thank you.
That being said, each of you is the captain of your virtual ship. You are not required to have anyone in your crew that you don't want there, nor is anyone required to have YOU in theirs.
Honor others' boundaries just as you would want them to honor yours. Be polite. Be respectful, but be genuine 24/7/365.
