Hey y’all hey! It’s been a minute (a Detroit minute) but we are still at it here at Backstitch. We’ve had so many wonderful projects coming through that we fell off on the updates 😅. The goal is to post more content round these parts.
Here’s a costume I had the absolute pleasure of helping bring to life some months ago. It was May y’all 😬.

Hey y’all hey! Happy holidays and Happy new year… 2 days in lol! Just a quick post to let you know that after a whirlwind of a year, Workshops are back at Backstitch! We’re going to ease into the year but there will be a later post with exact dates and times. I can confirm that there will be a work shop near the end of January “Basics at Backstitch” (that’s what I’m calling it for now) where you learn general sewing. Then workshops to bring in your own piece to upcycle throughout the year. Hoping to make this a bi monthly thing. TBD. There will also be workshops around Valentine’s Day, the date and time for those will also be posted later. Ok! Sew all the things!
