Christmas looks a little different than it used to.
The kids are grown now, with families of their own, and Christmas Eve and Day are spent in their own homes, creating traditions of their own. I understand it — and I’m grateful — but I’d be lying if I said I didn’t miss those big, noisy family gatherings with everyone under one roof.
Some days I feel a little like Cindy Lou Who, realizing that Christmas isn’t about the size of the gathering or the day on the calendar, but about love, connection, and the moments we choose to savor — even as traditions shift. 🤍
If your holidays feel a little quieter or different this year, here are a couple of gentle ways to bring warmth and connection into your home:
✨ Diffuser Blend: “Christmas Comfort”
3 drops Orange
2 drops Pine or Fir
1 drop Cinnamon (or Cinnamon Bark)
This blend feels cozy, nostalgic, and grounding — like Christmas memories wrapped in a warm hug.
🎄 Kid-Friendly Craft: Scented Cinnamon Ornaments
Mix:
1 cup applesauce
1½ cups ground cinnamon
Roll out, cut with cookie cutters, poke a hole for string, and let dry for 24–48 hours. Hang on the tree or give as heartfelt gifts. (They smell amazing and are little memory-makers!)
Change can be bittersweet, but the heart of Christmas never really changes. May your home be filled with comforting scents, meaningful moments, and love that lingers long after the season.
From our Scents and Wellness family to yours, wishing you a peaceful and comforting Christmas. 🎄✨
