Grand Itasca Clinic & Hospital, part of Fairview Health Services. Grand Itasca is the largest employer in the area, employing 700+ people.

Specialty services offered include oncology, cardiology, orthopedics, urology, OB.Gyn, occupational medicine, and chiropractic. The 44 bed hospital has a Medical/Surgical/Pediatrics unit, Intensive Care Unit, and Women's Health & Birth unit as well as a surgery center and comprehensive imaging and laboratory services. The 183,000 square foot facility is located on 76 scenic acres along the Mississippi River.

Lung Cancer Screening Saves Lives! 🫁🤍

In 2025, Grand Itasca teamed up with University of Minnesota researchers to help more people get screened for lung cancer, and it worked!

We are now screening well above the national average. During National Lung Cancer Month, we are asking for your help to reach everyone who could benefit.

If you’re 50–80 years old and have ever smoked, talk to your provider about lung screening. Even if you’ve quit, it’s important to make sure your care team knows when you quit and how much you smoked.

If you qualify, a low-dose chest CT scan is quick, painless, and covered by insurance. When lung cancer is found early through screening, it’s often curable.
