🌟 Staff Spotlight: Dr. Nicole Gdowski 🌟

Dr. Gdowski brings energy, precision, and heart to everything she does!

Before becoming an optometrist, she was a proud member of the Michigan Marching Band, where she performed in not one but TWO Rose Bowls! 🎶 She also played in the Men’s Basketball Band, traveling to New York for the National Invitation Tournament. 🏆
Being part of such high-level performances helped shape her teamwork, dedication, and commitment to excellence.

What does Dr. Gdowski loves most about optometry? 👀 Well, it’s the variety each day brings. No two patients are ever the same which keeps her inspired and engaged. She especially enjoys fitting contact lenses for patients who didn’t think they could wear them. There is nothing better than seeing that moment when they realize it is possible! 💪🏼 She also loves solving the mystery of dry eye, often uncovering the answer someone has been searching for. Lastly she enjoys taking time to explain certain conditions so patients can understand why they are experiencing symptoms.

When she’s not in the office, Dr. Gdowski enjoys staying active with volleyball and softball, spending time with her beautiful twin girls, and loving on her doggo, Elphie. 🐾

We’re so grateful for the knowledge, compassion, and enthusiasm Dr. Gdowski brings to our team and to every patient she serves! 👓✨

To our patients, you truly are the heart of what we do. Your trust, your stories, and the relationships we’ve built over the years means everything.

We also want to give a special nod to ✨ Dr. Dan Arsulowicz ✨ who founded this practice 55 years ago. His vision was to deliver personal and friendly eyecare which continues to guide us every single day.

✨ Staff Spotlight: Sharon ✨

Meet Sharon, the lovely receptionist at Arsulowicz Eye Care! She brings many many years of experience to patient care, including a handful of those as a medical assistant. Sharon loves the ocular field because it’s always interesting, and she finds helping patients especially rewarding. Fun fact: she has prior experience as an ophthalmic technician from another eyecare practice!

Outside of work, Sharon enjoys relaxing at her cottage in Silver Lake, where she loves being outdoors and staying active. She cherishes spending time with her husband and her adult children (two daughters and one son). She also never misses a chance to show love to her dog, Maverick 🐶. As a family that loves sports, they make it a tradition to attend a Detroit Tigers game every year. ⚾️

We’re so lucky to have Sharon on our team and excited for you all to get to know her!💙ri

✨Meet Our Office Manager, Sarah! ✨

Sarah is our amazing Office Manager and has been in the eyecare industry for four years. She helps keep our office running smoothly every single day, and her great sense of humor makes the workday even more enjoyable. She is originally from the UK and lived in Korea, where she welcomed her baby, before moving to Michigan. Her favorite thing about Michigan is the beautiful Lake Michigan 🌊

Outside of the office, Sarah enjoys spending time with her family and friends, loves being part of a food book club, and proudly calls herself a “tea snob” in her own words! Be sure to ask her about it the next time you see her ☕️
