🚨 New Team Member Alert! 🚨

Meet Hannah! She is one of Grand City Dentistry’s newest Hygienists, and we are so thrilled to have her join our team!

Get to know Hannah below:

I am a recent graduate from Ferris State University where I got my associates degree in dental hygiene. While in school I was part of the Student American Dental Hygiene Association and was the treasurer of my class.

I am loving my career choice so far and have loved getting to know all the patients. I enjoy having one on one conversations with my patients to understand their oral needs.

When I’m not in the office, I like to read books or spend time with my family. I love football and am a huge Michigan fan.

We would like to introduce you to one of our newest additions to our team, Dr. Erin Emmert!

Dr. Erin was born and raised in Michigan and has recently relocated to the Grand Rapids area. Before dental school, she attended Hope College where she received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and was also a member of the Swim and Dive team. She earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska.

With a passion for helping people achieve their best smiles, Erin believes that a healthy mouth is an essential part of overall well-being. She takes a personalized approach to treatment, ensuring that every patient feels comfortable and confident in their care plan.

When Dr. Erin is not caring for patients, she enjoys spending time with friends and family and exploring the beautiful outdoors of West Michigan.

“Hello! My name is Ema, and I am a Dental Assistant here at Grand City Dentistry.

I have been a part of this team for approximately 2 months as I just graduated from Ross College’s Dental Assistant program! I have had the best time working with such a fantastic team. I enjoy making an impact on patients' lives when they come into our office.

In my free time, my fiancé and I love to take my 3 dogs on walks and car rides! They love road trips, especially when we get to visit family. They keep me very busy and on my toes at all times!”

“Hi! My name is Pat, and I have been a Dental Hygienist at our office for the past 18 years! I have happily worked as a Dental Hygienist for the last 43 years since I graduated from the University of Michigan Dental Hygiene program in 1981. I have never regretted my career choice as I enjoy the challenges of being a dental hygienist, and the great joy of working with wonderful people, both my co-workers and the patients I have been blessed to spend time with. When not at Grand City Dentistry, my husband and I take joy in working in our yard and even greater joy in spending time with our sons, daughters-in-law, and 4 amazing grandchildren.”

Every two years, MOM (Mission of Mercy) is hosted in Michigan and provides FREE dental care to those who cannot access proper dental care. This year, June 14th-15th in Flint, Michigan, marked the fifth year that MOM was hosted with its one-hundred-chair dental clinic.
