A huge thank you to our wonderful residents who joined us yesterday to help deck the halls. Their smiles, teamwork, and holiday spirit made the community sparkle even brighter. We are so grateful for the joy they bring! ❤️✨

Yesterday we hosted a Holiday Shop here at the community, and it was such a wonderful success! 🎄✨

Residents, families, and staff enjoyed browsing a variety of unique items from some amazing vendors — from delicious baklava to 3D-printed fidgets, handmade all-natural soaps and lotions, beautiful greeting cards, and even quilted artwork. 🛍️💛

Thank you to everyone who came out to support our vendors and share in the festive spirit. Events like these truly brighten our season! 🎁🌟

Yesterday at StoryPoint Forest Hills was a bittersweet time. We had a going away celebration for one of our amazing residents that is heading to Colorado soon. We will miss her very dearly as she’s been such a joy to have around.

What an incredible time our Memory Care residents had playing “Who is the Biggest Turkey”. They answered turkey related questions but not before finding out their turkey name 😂🦃

Today at Story Point Forest Hills, Amy, with Kids' Food Basket joined us to share information about the organization and decorate bags with our residents. It was truly amazing to see everyone come out and give their time and creativity to a good cause. Thank you again Amy for spending your afternoon with us 🤗🤩

Happy Halloween everyone! Story Point Forest Hills had an unforgettable night last night. Our Halloween Spooktacular event was a HUGE success. We had sooo many visitors, family members, and friends stop by to have a good time with us. The kids got to play spooky fun games led by some of our amazing staff members, enjoy yummy cider and donuts, and of course go trick or treating. The residents really showed up for the kids. They were so excited to give the kiddos treats and trinkets. There were so many cool costumes to see. It was definitely a night to remember.
Thank you to all of the residents and staff members for helping making this event as amazing as it was.
Thank you to everyone who donated anything towards our event. We are grateful for the donations. They truly helped make our event a success.

Yesterday, our head chef and sous chef hosted a cooking demonstration for our residents 👨‍🍳 Residents were able to sample menu items from our Heart Healthy menu while also learning the importance and benefits of this diet. Residents were able to sample a cashew cream, mashed cauliflower (which tasted so great, they thought they were eating mashed potatoes), and a raisin reduction that serves as a healthier option for adding a little sweetness. The food was so amazing, they couldn’t believe it was all apart of a Heart Healthy diet!!! Thank you Chef Tyler and Sous Chef Myles for the amazing demonstration 🥗🥦

Today we had students from GVSU Speech & Language Pathology program come in and spend time with our residents. Our memory care residents got to decorate the cutest pumpkins just in time for Halloween 🎃 . Our assisted living residents went head to head in a classic game of Family Feud . Both communities had an amazing time! Thank you so much to the professor and the students for sharing their afternoon with our wonderful residents ☺️☺️
