Thank you to everyone who joined us at our Gala last night, it was a night to remember 💃🕺

Our residents absolutely stole the show. They looked stunning all dressed up with their masquerade masks and nice outfits. It was incredible to see everyone enjoying themselves

We were especially grateful to see so many families come out to celebrate with us. Your presence made the night even more meaningful. ❤️

Thank you to every single department that played a part in making the night unforgettable. Pulling this all together was a true team effort, and we all worked together to make last night as amazing as it was

Thank you to our musicians, Edye & Mike, the smooth jazz was the perfect touch to our evening

I want to also thank our partners at CorsoCare and Gentiva Hospice for their contribution to our Gala. Jamie & Mandi did an outstanding job.

Today, some of our residents enjoyed an amazing lunch outing at Cascade Roadhouse and it did not disappoint! 🍽️✨The food was delicous, the hospitality was amazing, it was truly a special afternoon.
They even brought out a special dessert for one of our residents whose birthday is today.
This was such a wonderful reminder that meaningful moments happen both inside and outside our walls. Thank you to the team at Cascade Roadhouse for making us feel so welcome! We can’t wait to come back 🍔🍟🍤🍻

Our Memory Care residents got creative with a colorful arts & crafts project inspired by none other than George Washington. This was a fun way to celebrate history, but it also encouraged creativity, self-expression, and great conversation about our nation’s beginnings.

This week we are shining the spotlight on our incredible Housekeeping Team! 🧹💙

Behind every clean hallway, fresh resident apartment, and beautifully maintained common area is a team that works tirelessly each day to keep our community clean, comfortable, and welcoming. Their attention to detail does not go unnoticed, in fact, one of the most frequent compliments we receive from guests and families is how nice and clean our building feels the moment they walk through the doors.

Cleanliness isn’t just about appearance, it’s about creating a safe, healthy, and dignified environment for our residents to call home. Our housekeeping team takes great pride in their work, and it truly shows.

Our Meet & Greet for our new Wellness Director was such a fun time! 💙

Residents and families had the opportunity to stop by, say hello, and learn more about the exciting initiatives coming to our community. The energy in the room was warm and welcoming, filled with great questions and shared excitement for all that’s ahead.

Our Wellness Director, Sheila, is passionate about creating meaningful experiences that support our residents in every way and we can’t wait to see the positive impact they’ll continue to make each day.

We were honored to welcome Officer Zach Jackson from the Kent County Sheriffs Dept. to our community for an informative and empowering session on fraud prevention, scams, and identity theft.

Officer Jackson shared valuable insights on the latest scam tactics, warning signs to watch for, and practical steps to protect personal and financial information. From phone and email scams to identity theft prevention, our residents walked away feeling more confident and equipped with tools to stay safe.

A big thank you to Officer Jackson for taking the time to educate and protect our community. Knowledge truly is power 👮‍♂️🚔

We had the sweetest time celebrating our February birthdays here at the community today! 🎉💜A total of 10 amazing residents (not all pictured) were honored this month, and the room was filled with even more friends who came to join in the fun. There was laughter, music, a beautiful cake, and so many warm birthday wishes shared.

Moments like these remind us how special it is to celebrate life together — not just the birthdays, but the friendships and joy that make our community feel like home.

We want to extend a heartfelt thank you to Beckie Meier Davidson, the wonderful daughter of one of our Memory Care residents, for the beautiful handmade Valentine’s cards she brought in for everyone 💕

Each card was created with such care and kindness, and they truly brightened our residents’ day. The smiles, sweet conversations, and joy that filled the room were a beautiful reminder of how meaningful simple acts of love can be.

Gestures like this make our community feel even more like family. Thank you for taking the time to deliver the cards, it meant more than you know ❤️

We had such a wonderful time on our lunch outing to Licari’s! 🍝🥗

The food was incredibly fresh and absolutely delicious Our residents left stuffed to capacity and already talking about what they’ll order next time.

Even better than the food were the laughs and conversations shared around the table. It’s always so special to get out together, enjoy a great meal, and create memories along the way.

A big thank you to the amazing staff at Licari’s for the fantastic service and warm hospitality. We can’t wait to plan another visit in the future! ❤️✨

GVSU’s School of Nursing joined us yesterday — and they’ll be coming every Tuesday this semester! 🩺💙

Our residents have such a wealth of knowledge, life experience, and stories to share, and we are honored to be part of helping shape the next generation of nurses. Throughout the semester, these students will be engaging with our residents, learning from them, and gaining hands-on experience that will help prepare them for whichever path they choose on their nursing journey.

It’s a beautiful partnership — our residents enjoy meaningful conversation and connection, and the students gain insight that simply can’t be taught in a textbook.

Thank you to GVSU for collaborating with us. We’re looking forward to an incredible semester of learning, laughter, and shared wisdom! 💙
