Dry needling is a technique that uses thin, solid needles to address muscular tension and pain. While the tools are similar, acupuncture is a regulated medical system with thousands of years of history and extensive anatomical training. Dry needling training and practitioner requirements vary widely by state and profession.

Understanding scope of practice helps all of us make informed decisions about our health — and know exactly who is trained and authorized to provide the care we receive.

We care about your health. Make sure you are treated with care and professionalism.

Our hearts go out to Steelers player T.J. Watts.
Due to dry needling he experienced a collapsed lung. This incident highlights training standards and why regulations matter. Acupuncture is scientifically safer.
This is another reason why we firmly stand behind the benefits and safety of acupuncture.
