This month marks an incredible milestone — our CEO, Chris Nawrocki, celebrates 30 years with The Center for Physical Rehabilitation!

From his early days as a clinician to leading our organization as CEO, Chris has consistently embodied excellence, innovation, and compassion in everything he does. As a Board-Certified Orthopedic Specialist (OCS) and McKenzie Certified Therapist, he’s built programs that have shaped our practice — including launching our Throwers Analysis Program (TAP) and expanding our advanced specialty services such as Dry Needling and spinal care.

Chris’s influence extends far beyond the clinic. His leadership has guided The Center through remarkable growth, helping us serve more patients, empower more clinicians, and remain a trusted partner in the communities we call home. His advocacy for our profession — from serving as Payment Director for the Michigan APTA to his work with the Jandernoa Entrepreneurial Mentorship Program — reflects his deep commitment to advancing physical therapy and supporting the next generation of leaders.

Okemos patient success story!

When Kevin found himself injured in the middle of training for the New York City Marathon, our Okemos team stepped in to help him recover and get back on track. Through personalized care and focused training support, Kevin not only made it to the starting line—he crossed the finish line strong and even qualified for the Boston Marathon!

"Walking in I did not know what to expect. One of my hamstring muscles was completely torn from my pelvis and I had the New York City Marathon to run in a few months. I had doubts that I would be able to complete it due to extreme pain. The care and plan Bryce and Lee provided was unbelievable! I was not only able to complete my marathon but it was my fastest one yet…with one less hamstring muscle working!! Surgery to reattach is next month and you can bet I’ll be back for post-op therapy. The entire staff is friendly, extremely knowledgeable, and accommodating."

We’re so proud to have been part of his journey and proud to continue providing care after his upcoming surgery.
