🎄 Spreading holiday cheer in Sparta!

On Christmas Eve, members of the Trinity Health Medical Group Sparta team delivered a 🚗 car full of donations, 🍎 food, and 🎁 gifts to patients in the community. Thanks to generous contributions from foundation drives, Prescription for Health programs, and staff across multiple THMG offices, the team was able to share 🛏️ blankets, 🧸 children’s gifts, and heartfelt gratitude at every stop.

This act of kindness reflects the mission of Trinity Health — bringing hope and care to those who need it most. 💚 Thank you to everyone who made this possible!

At just 18, Taylor Hyma was living the life of a typical teen—school, work, friends—until sudden, severe seizures turned her world upside down.

✨ Donna’s Story of Hope ✨

Donna Betten’s family is big — three kids, nine grandkids — and one more she treasures: her Saint Mary’s Foundation family.

Years ago, Donna welcomed her children at Trinity Health Grand Rapids. Later, she returned for a much harder reason: a breast cancer diagnosis. At the Lacks Cancer Center, she found expert care, compassion, and spiritual support that carried her through.

Today, Donna gives back in countless ways. Her message?
“Be part of something bigger than yourself.”

🎹 Celebrating International Volunteer Day! 🌟

Meet Cheryl Sisco, a shining example of how volunteering keeps meaningful connections alive. After retiring from Trinity Health Grand Rapids in 2023 following 43 years of dedicated service as a Registered Nurse and Nurse Practitioner, Cheryl returned to share her gift of music with patients and guests.

You’ll often find Cheryl at the grand piano in the lobby of Trinity Health Lacks Cancer Center, filling the space with beautiful melodies and spiritual hymns that bring comfort and joy. Many patients and families even sing along, creating unforgettable moments of hope and healing.

Cheryl says, “Saint Mary’s will always be a part of me, and volunteering is a way to keep this meaningful connection.” 💙
