The mission and vision of REACH Within Ranch was created from Kari’s desire to blend the powerful healing gifts of horses with her years of experience serving others as a Social Worker. Our mission is to honor all aspects of the human experience with compassion, create awareness and responsibility, and expand healing opportunities that enable personal and professional growth. We aim to create an environment and experience that empowers individuals to become aware of the resources they hold within, embrace all parts of self, and navigate the human experience from a place of emotional freedom, growth, and wholeness on their life’s journey toward a divine destiny. Our vision is to empower social workers, helpers, and healers to increase awareness, release the burden of unhealed wounds, limiting beliefs, and the inherent stress of the work, and reclaim the freedom of choice to minimize and prevent the effects of burnout and compassion fatigue in the health and human service field.

The last few weeks have been filled with chilly fall days, yet REACH Within Ranch has been warm with beautiful moments of connection, soulful exploration, and healing.

Last weekend, some incredible young ladies and those that love them joined us for a one-day retreat to step into a vision of their future selves — exploring the values and guiding principles that support movement toward that vision. We shared a delicious meal, laughter, creativity, wisdom, and new friendships that will no doubt continue to grow.

On Tuesday, the healing herd and I had the privilege of holding space for three amazing humans as they explored sorrows, received nurturance, and stepped into a new light of boldness.

This afternoon, we kicked off the fall series of Connection & Healing Circles. Each woman arrived with an open heart and a willingness to trust the process, the sacred space, the herd, and one another.

I hold deep gratitude for phenomenal equine coaching partners and their willingness to warm our human hearts, souls, and hands. We are honored and grateful for the young ladies and women who continue to show up for themselves, expanding the light in the world.

What a wonderful HELD IN THEIR PRESENCE RETREAT last weekend!

Nature was breathtaking, the horses nurturing, and the connections deeply meaningful. Together we explored personal values, reflected on our inner wisdom, and shared moments of laughter, tears, and transformation.

Every time we gather in circle, I’m reminded how powerful it is to slow down, listen within, and allow ourselves to be supported—by nature, by horses, and by one another.

Grateful for each woman who showed up with an open heart and for the beauty that unfolded at Rivers Edge Ranch this weekend.

Most humans can relate to at least one of the situations in this list. In Gestalt, we call this unfinished business - past pain that lives in the body and shows up as reactions today, some of which may live outside your conscious awareness.

Where in your life do you experience a reaction that steals your peace? What if you brought all of your awareness to this reaction, without an agenda to understand or change it. What if you simply observed the reaction, paid attention to what you feel in your physical body, and allowed yourself to experience the emotions and sensations that arise without judgment?

Next Tuesday, September 30th, we will gather for this year's final Women's Connection and Healing Circle at River's Edge Ranch in Aurora, MN.
