The biggest lie? “I can handle this on my own.”
So we grind harder, stretch ourselves thinner, and depend on willpower, but self reliance keeps us stuck.
Real breakthrough begins when we admit we cannot do it alone. That is where God’s power steps in.

Sometimes the most powerful thing we can do is admit we can't do it alone. When we recognize our limitations and turn to God, that's when real transformation begins. Just like the Israelites needed divine intervention to escape Egypt, we need God's power to overcome what we can't handle ourselves.

Sometimes we don't have to know everything about Jesus to surrender to Him. ‘He dresses you and makes you clean.’ 'Meeting us right where we are, even in our uncertainty.
If you’ve never surrendered, simply pray:
“Lord Jesus, if You are real, take away my sin, my pain, my sorrow. Save me.”
And He will.
We encourage anyone to attend our Friday night gatherings (every Friday) starting at 6PM with dinner, then worship and small groups. God bless!

Are you really listening… or just waiting to speak?
James 1:19 challenges us to be quick to listen and slow to speak. What if learning to truly hear others — and ourselves — is the breakthrough we’ve been missing?
And here’s the hope: Jesus is listening. Watch this message and lean in. 🙏

Step Two is about restoring sanity.
Knowing who I am, why I’m here, and admitting I’m not okay doing life alone.
Every day is a battle. Every day we need help. That’s why we lay it all at Jesus’ feet and pray, “What thy will be done? Not mine.”
Because if it were up to us… we’ve seen how that goes. Grace restores what we can’t. 🙏

It's Step 2 month at Community Recovery! We asked the question, "Who is our higher power?" We declare him as Jesus Christ, our Lord. Come and join us at Community Recovery International in the journey of understanding who Jesus is as your higher power!

Baggage loses its power when grace takes over. Romans 6 reminds us not to let sin run our lives anymore.
We are no longer ruled by old desires. We belong to God. This isn’t about duty or trying harder. Jesus already said “it is finished.” Grace comes before effort.
And from that grace, Ephesians 2:10 tells us we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ to walk out the good works He already prepared.
