✨ Welcome Whitney to Massage Away LLC! ✨

We’re excited to welcome Whitney, our newest Licensed Massage Therapist, to the team! She has been a licensed massage therapist since February 2025 and will be officially starting with us on February 23rd.

Whitney will be available every Monday from 10:00am–6:00pm.

She specializes in helping clients reduce pain, improve mobility, and feel their best. With experience in sports recovery, relaxation massage, and comfort-focused care, Whitney tailors each session to each individual’s needs.

As an endurance athlete, she has a personal appreciation for recovery, movement, and long-term body care. She believes massage should support both physical wellness and everyday life—helping clients leave feeling restored, balanced, and ready to move comfortably again.

Due to significant snowfall this morning, continued low temperatures, and road conditions that have been difficult to clear to safe levels, Massage Away LLC will be calling a snow day and closing early today at 12:30 PM.

With how cold, icy, and snowy it’s been, please take your time, drive carefully, and don’t feel pressured to be out if the roads don’t feel safe. The safety of our clients and therapists always comes first.

✨ Meet Our New Student Therapist – Sydney! ✨

We’re excited to welcome Sydney to the Massage Away LLC team!

Sydney is a student massage therapist currently completing her training at Blue Heron Academy, with an expected graduation in March 2026. She holds a degree in Exercise Science from Grand Valley State University, which has given her a strong foundation in human movement, biomechanics, and injury prevention.

She is passionate about helping clients reduce pain, improve mobility, and support overall physical wellness. Through her education and hands-on clinical experience, Sydney has developed a solid base in therapeutic techniques and client-centered care, with a growing interest in sports massage therapy to support active individuals, enhance recovery, and improve performance.

As she continues progressing through her training this spring, Sydney is excited to build relationships with clients and continue growing her skills here at Massage Away LLC.

🌿 Meet Our New Therapist: Mickyla 🌿

We’re so excited to introduce Mickyla (pronounced mic-KAI-luh), our newest Licensed Massage Therapist here at Massage Away LLC!

Mickyla graduated from Synergy Wellness Academy in 2025 and became licensed in 2026. She brings a calm, grounded energy to her sessions and has a passion for helping clients relax, recover, and feel their best.

Outside of the studio, Mickyla is a wife and mom to an awesome 11-year-old daughter. She loves spending time with her family, traveling to the Southwest for desert hikes, and making plant-based skincare — a reflection of her love for natural, holistic wellness.

As we wrap up the year, we wanted to share our New Year’s holiday hours so you can plan ahead:
🗓 Holiday Hours
• New Year’s Eve (Wednesday, Dec 31): Open 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• New Year’s Day (Thursday, Jan 1): Closed all day
• Friday, Jan 2: Back open for our regular hours

We still have some availability remaining before New Year’s Eve and openings shortly after the holiday, so if you’re hoping to fit in a session around the New Year, we recommend booking soon.

This is also a great time to plan ahead for the new year — schedulivng appointments in advance helps you stay consistent with self-care and ensures you’re set up as the year gets busy.
