Anyone else just love being out when it’s wild like this??
Makes me happy. 😄

Also, wishing I had something insightful to say on Martin Luther King Day … Just feeling grateful for the beauty of nature and sad for what our country is up to right now. My heart goes out to everyone in the Minnesota conflict. Praying for the hearts of the ICE agents to open. Praying for peaceful protest. Praying for justice.

Maybe everyone should just go out and play outside for a bit and let go of some anger… go sledding. Make a snow angel 😇

Horseradish!!! Keeps the gardening fun going!

This is my first time harvesting our horseradish and I didn’t expect to see new growth.

When I look out at the snow I assume everything is dead under the snow but it turns out there are secrets hidden under that blanket of white!

Even in below freezing temperatures life is sprouting up.

I’m reading two books and the same message keeps coming up: Loneliness.

teaches that exhaustion at work is often really isolation.

describes the heartache women face from a lifetime of wounds that leave us feeling alone even sounded by family.

I didn’t start these books at the same time knowing how they would build on each other. They make me wonder: How do we get better at connection?
