When we talk boundaries, we are talking about focusing on what we can control to support us through the things we cannot.
This second winter is a great example of something that is out of our controlπ¨π¨, if we had control of the weather we are sure we would have sunny days from here onβοΈ. What we can control is how we respond to the weather or other things outside of our control.
Other things we cannot control; past mistakes, time, actions of others. focusing on these may make us feel stuck or hopeless when we are not seeing any change.
When we switch the perspective to how we approach the things we can work with like how we grow or learn from the past, how we spend our time, who we choose to engage with or how much we engage with them. We start to see the impact of our choices.
