Midday walks are underrated. Sunshine + movement + little space between tasks = clearer thinking and steadier energy. You don’t need a complicated routine. Sometimes 10 to 15 minutes outside. Is enough to shift your whole afternoon.

My pledge as your Naturopathic Doctor 💕💕💕

Perimenopause is often misunderstood. Many women are told symptoms mean estrogen is low, when in early perimenopause it’s is often fluctuating or high, while progesterone is declining and stress hormones are louder. This mismatch is what creates confusion, anxiety, sleep changes, and feeling off, sometimes years before cycles change. This isn’t your body failing. It’s your hormones and nervous system adapting.

02/06/2026

PCOS isn’t a disease with one treatment. It’s a hormone pattern. Birth control and metformin are options but they’re not the only ones and they don’t address root causes like insulin signaling inflammation or stress hormones. You’re allowed to ask why your body is doing this and you deserve more than symptom suppression.

01/29/2026

One of the biggest differences clients notice at their first appointment is the time.

Your initial visit is about two hours long not because we’re slow, but because there’s a lot to talk about.

We go through every system in your body and how they’re all connected. Because your symptoms don’t exist in isolation, and neither does your story.

A 15-minute appointment can’t capture:
• what you’ve been through
• what you’re dealing with right now
• what you’ve already tried
• how long your symptoms have been showing up
• or how all of it is affecting your day-to-day life

I want to hear all of it. Feeling truly heard is not optional, it’s essential for this work to actually work.

If you’ve been feeling like something’s been missed, this may be the space you’ve been looking for. 🤍

Okay, real talk for a second.

If you’ve ever left a doctor’s appointment and thought,
“I didn’t ask anything I wanted to ask… and now I feel weird about it” you’re not alone.

It’s SO common to feel nervous speaking up.
But you deserve to know:

• why you’re taking something
• how it might interact with other meds or supplements
• what your labs actually mean
• or if there are other labs you’re curious about

A few things that help if asking in the moment feels hard:
👉 write your questions down ahead of time
👉 keep them in your notes app
👉 email or message your provider after
👉 remind yourself that good providers want informed patients

This is your body.
Your health.
You’re not “being annoying”, you’re being responsible. 🤍

Let me tell you something I see all the time in my practice 🤍

If your gut feels off & you’re experiencing bloating, discomfort, irregular digestion, yes, there could be a gut microbe imbalance. But very often? Your gut is mirroring what’s happening in your nervous system.

Chronic stress, being stuck in fight-or-flight, poor sleep, overwhelm… all of that directly affects digestion. And here’s the good news: when we make small, sustainable changes, we often support both systems at the same time.

This is one of the biggest benefits of naturopathic care. We don’t look at symptoms in isolation. Your gut, hormones, nervous system, immune system, they’re constantly talking to each other. When we support the root, things start to shift everywhere.

You don’t need to overhaul your life. You need the right changes, done consistently, that your body can actually maintain.

If you’re dealing with gut issues and feel chronically stressed, anxious, or burnt out, then this might be your sign to look deeper 🤍

Okay friend, let me tell you one of my favorite low-effort health habits 👇

I keep a rebounder right in my living room, no gym, no “workout clothes required.” I’ll hop on for a minute or two between tasks, or even while watching TV. And those tiny moments? They add up in a big way.

Gentle rebounding is amazing for supporting lymphatic drainage (your body’s clean-up system), building strength, and yes, helping with pelvic floor dysfunction. The key here is consistency, not intensity.

You don’t need a 45-minute workout to support your body. You need small, repeatable habits that fit into real life. A few minutes here and there can help you feel lighter, stronger, and more connected to your body over time.

This is your reminder: movement should feel supportive, not like punishment 🤍

When patients tell me they hate exercising, I don’t push them harder, I help them find a gentler approach.

Movement should never feel like punishment. If you dread it, your body is already telling you it’s not the right fit.

I focus on helping people move in ways that make them feel strong, flexible, and good in their joints. Not wiped out or sore for days.

I personally love barre and light lifting (nothing more than 20 lbs). It’s gentle, it’s effective, and honestly… it feels good.

The goal isn’t to suffer. The goal is to find movement you enjoy, because when you enjoy it, you’ll actually stick with it. And that’s where real results come from.

Ever notice how you can be mostly fine… until you’re not?

We all have a stress “cup.”
Work, kids, lack of sleep, food stuff, emotional stress, it all goes in.

You can handle it for a while… but keep adding things and eventually the cup overflows and symptoms show up.

The goal isn’t doing everything perfectly (because… life).

It’s just finding small ways to empty your cup here and there so it doesn’t spill over.

Save this as a reminder during busy seasons 💛 and as always, if you need help getting to the root of those symptoms, I’d love to work for you!

Book a meet & greet with me today (yes, it’s complimentary & only 15 minutes so we can meet, discuss symptoms and an action plan). All care is provided virtually! I cannot wait to meet you. You can find the link to schedule in my bio ✨

Struggling to lose weight and worried it’s your thyroid?

Here’s something most people don’t realize 👇

Making thyroid hormones isn’t just about the thyroid itself. Your body needs key nutrients to produce and convert those hormones properly — and iron is a big one.

The tricky part?
Iron deficiency doesn’t always show up clearly on a standard CBC, so many people are told “everything looks normal” when it’s not the full picture.

If weight loss feels impossible despite doing “all the right things,” it may be worth looking deeper than basic labs.

This is where a functional approach can make a huge difference ✨
