☀️Sound Baths at Boochie: A Sonic Chakra Cleanse-March 28☀️

Working with chakras is at the foundation of my sound and energy healing practice. At its core, sound healing works on the principle that everything in the Universe is energy and vibrates at different frequencies, including the chakras. Each chakra has its own frequency, and sound healing tools, such as my singing bowls, tuning forks, and gong, produce sounds, frequencies, and vibrations that can align with your these frequencies to help bring your chakras into alignment.

When sound and vibration are introduced to a chakra, it resonates with the energy of that center, breaking up stagnation and encouraging energy to flow freely. The vibrations also influence the body on a cellular level and gently guide the brain into states of deep relaxation, such as alpha or theta brainwaves, where deep healing can occur because the nervous system can relax and release stored emotions, trauma, or negative energy. In my practice, I have seen firsthand how sound healing helps clear energetic blockages across the chakras and supports individuals in achieving emotional clarity, physical relief, and a meaningful sense of inner harmony.

☀️New Beginnings: A Reiki-Infused Sound Bath Awakening - April 12☀️

My dear soul friend, owner of Horizon Holistics, and Reiki Master, Jessie Lynn, and I are partnering up again in less than one month to offer our next hybrid healing experience combining Reiki (a form of Japanese energy healing) and sound healing to help release tension, reduce stress, and support your body’s natural healing abilities. This time, we are focusing the experience and our intentions toward honoring the spring season as a time when we join the world around us in blooming, growing, and awakening our energy and senses to step into new beginnings. As a soon-to-be Reiki Master myself (I’m proud to share I will achieve this level before this event), I will infuse my instruments and the sounds, vibrations, and frequencies they produce with the Universal life force energy channeled via the Reiki practice while Jessie immerses the entire group with Reiki and briefly on each participant.

We’re just a few days away from the next Sound Baths at Boochie series at Boochie - Kombucha and Wellness Bar with only a handful of open spots left and this time the focus is on cleansing, balancing, and nurturing through sound your 7 chakras - Root (red), Sacral (orange), Solar Plexus (yellow), Heart (green), Throat (blue), Third-Eye (indigo), and Crown (purple).

Derived from the Sanskrit word for “wheel” or “disk”, chakras are invisible energy centers located along the spine, from the tailbone to the crown of the head, that are constantly spinning to keep our spiritual, mental, emotional, and physical health and energy balanced. Each chakra governs different body parts, internal organs, and emotions, so when chakras become unbalanced, physical and emotional symptoms can manifest.

During this 60-minute sound bath, I’ll play 7 pure quartz crystal singing bowls, among other instruments, that produce sound, frequencies, and vibrations that align with each chakra to help relax your nervous system and balance your energy.

As someone who struggles daily with staying present in the moment, yesterday’s Purposefully Present sound bath event at 2 R S T was just as meaningful for me as I believe it was for our guests. In a world designed to constantly distract us and take us out of ourselves, it was a special occasion to pause together with the 6 beautiful souls who joined me for an intimate morning of relaxation, release, and inner reflection.

During yesterday’s event, we welcomed spring by reflecting on the past and present to set intentions and hopes for the future during our “Note by 2RST” activity before enjoying a restorative, 60-minute sound bath. To close our time together, our guests enjoyed sipping samples of 2RST’s custom brewed coffee blends and wax-sealed their notes so Robert McKenzie, 2RST owner, can mail them out in March 2027.

It wasn’t a full house, but that’s never the point. The point is creating a safe, inclusive, welcoming, and nurturing space where relaxation, release, and healing through sound, frequencies, and vibrations for whoever chooses to join. And, it was a privilege to do just that while facilitating the very first sound bath to ever take place at 2RST. Robert is striving to create something really special, something more than just a retail store. He’s building a place where local comedians, musicians, artists, and now even sound healers, can have an accessible platform to share their gifts and talents along with a sense of community. Happy New Year! The start of the Astrological New Year begins today on the Equinox - a time when light and darkness come into balance around the Earth, guiding us into renewal, rebirth, new beginnings. The Equinox invites you to release what is no longer needed so that you can enter this new season in deeper alignment with yourself, your purpose, your path, and your light.

Sometimes you visit a person or a place from your past that offers a moment of full circle reflection that helps you look back at the big picture of all the little synchronicities, moments, unexpected twists and turns and divine direction that has led you to where you are today. For me, one of those places is always FOX 17. The first job of my career was working as a camera operator in the FOX 17 studio and during my years there I was also a Producer and videographer in the field. ☀️ Purposefully Present: A Sound Bath Reflection at 2RST - March 21 ☀️

Ending the day by beginning to find the vibe and spread positive intentions for Saturday’s Purposefully Present sound bath event, which only has a few spots left with space limited to 12 people. Together, guests will pause to reflect and appreciate the past and present moments of their journeys to briefly and privately write a letter to themselves one year in the future in a cozy lounge area before bringing those hopes, dreams, reflections, and/or intentions into a restorative, 60-minute sound bath in the 2 R S T Event Space attached to the retail area.

The focus of the sound bath will be releasing what’s holding us back on our journeys, so we can more fully embrace each present moment and the world around us moving forward. After the sound bath, we’ll seal the letters, which Robert McKenzie, owner of 2RST, will mail out in March 2027. We’re just a few days away from the first ever sound bath at 2 R S T, and this sonic journey taking place the day after the Spring Equinox is all about pausing to appreciate the present. There are so many turbulent energies swirling about the world right now and distractions for days, making the ability to remain in the present moment so you can fully tap into a heart of gratitude and your inner peace and wisdom very challenging. But, in our current world designed to keep us constantly busy and scattered, staying present is more important than ever. I’m feeling very grateful to be deep in my soul work again today ahead of a couple of private Reiki + Sound sessions coming up this weekend in my space at the Holistic Health Collective. Before any private session, I connect my Higher Self with the individual’s energy and Higher Self to begin identifying any fluctuations, blockages, or imbalances as a way to customize the experience. As part of that process, I conduct a mini-Oracle Card reading using 25+ different Oracle Card decks, a pendulum, and the ancient art of dowsing to find the specific deck, card, and message the individual is meant to have before our time together.
