Huge shoutout to Michele’s Rescue and her amazing crew for bringing in a whole litter of tiny, tail-wagging therapists today. Productivity may have dropped to zero, but serotonin levels? Through the roof!

Residents got plenty of snuggles, staff enjoyed some puppy breath, and we’re pretty sure a few people are still trying to figure out how to “accidentally” take one home in their purse. 😉

10/10 day—would absolutely cancel all meetings for puppies again! 🐾✨

There’s nothing better than taking a moment to slow down, connect, and enjoy something sweet together 💫

Last week at Intersect of Roscommon, our amazing team was treated to a cozy coffee and snack cart—complete with all the fixings! From warm coffee and flavored syrups to delicious cookies and treats, it was the perfect way to brighten the day ☕🍪

A special thank you to Sheila for bringing the smiles, the energy, and all the goodies! Moments like these remind us how important it is to care for not only our residents—but each other as well 💙

Because when you feel appreciated, you show up even stronger for those we serve every day.

This week at Intersect Healthcare of Lamont, we say goodbye to our Activity Director—and honestly, we’re not sure how we’re going to function without her.

This Friday marks her last day as she heads back home to Illinois to be closer to family. But let’s be real—she’s leaving behind a legacy filled with fun, positivity, and a whole lot of personality.

From planning activities like a pro to reminding us all that “she’s just a girl,” she kept things lively with her love of books, cats, a perfectly crispy Coke, and of course… snacks. Lots and lots of snacks.

Our residents adored her, our staff relied on her, and now we’re all wondering who will bring the same energy (and snack stash) moving forward.

We will miss her more than words can say, but we’re so excited for her next chapter. Illinois is lucky to have her—even if we’re a little jealous.

Don’t forget about us when you’re enjoying your crispy Coke and living your best life. You’ll always be “just a girl”… but our girl. 💛
