Mission Point's team of therapy professionals provide rehabilitation services up to 7 days a week, enabling patients to return home as soon as possible.

Forest Hills Christmas Teddy Bear Tea Party

Residents enjoyed a delightful Christmas tea party for their stuffed animals. And because stuffed animals need treats too, residents were told that bringing a stuffed animal would earn them an extra treat! Some residents even borrowed from others so everyone could arrive with fluffy companionship.

Animal names were shared—many created on the spot and often hilariously named after fellow residents—followed by residents joyfully selecting their treats: donut holes, fudge bites, and mini cookies. It was a wonderfully entertaining and social holiday event! 🎄🧸

Forest Hills Dog Therapy

Once a month, Sterling, a Weimaraner, visits residents room to room—especially those who are less active in group activities. Sterling is pure love; if someone starts scratching her, she leans right in. She’s a ball of affection and acceptance and makes a wonderful greeter and love-seeker.🐾💙

Many residents find joy in running their hands over her face and scratching her back, and Sterling soaks it all in, giving calmness and acceptance right back. She’s a real winner at our facility! 🐾💙

Residents had the pleasure of expressing themselves through paint—this time, the canvas was a wooden reindeer! A model reindeer was displayed as inspiration, and residents were given the choice of creating their own color palette or following the model. Many chose their favorite colors and painted with emotion, while others opted for the more traditional color scheme. Regardless of their approach, everyone experienced the joy of color and creativity. At Forest Hills, we are The Joyful Paintbrush!

🎄 Forest Hills Christmas Party 🎅
Santa and Mrs. Claus made an early Christmas visit to our Forest Hills facility, spreading joy, hugs, and holiday cheer! Our residents enjoyed a day full of festive fun—from Bingo with M&M prizes and Christmas dog sticker crafts that kept busy hands smiling, to delicious treats like red velvet cake and pumpkin pie. Gift bags, laughter, and heartfelt moments filled the room, making it a truly unforgettable celebration.

We are deeply grateful to our incredible volunteers and generous donors who helped make this Christmas extra special for our residents. Your kindness made the season shine! ❤️

Today was a very special and proud day at Intersect Health Care of Cedar Springs. Kathy has been employed at the Cedar Springs facility as a cook for the past 48 years, and today was her last day preparing meals for our community. Our residents and staff have been truly blessed to work alongside her and to have her warm presence in our building.
