BE WELL Center Vision:
We see a community of God’s beloved embracing His invitation to BE WELL

We invite people to come together to classes and meetings, to exercise together and also meet one on one to address fitness, nutrition and the pursuit of wellness. Current classes February 2021

Yoga: Tuesday at 5:30pm, Thursday at noon
Healthy Eating: 2nd & 4th Wednesday 10am-11:30am (on hold for now)
Open Gym: Tuesday, ,Thursday from 9am-12 noon. (Currently by appointment)

- We offer these classes to you free of charge; donations to our non-profit organization are gratefully accepted.

This will be our last post as Be Well will be closing this month. We may have shared this scripture before but we love it because it speaks of God's good provision of food to sustain us and make us glad:
Psalm 104:14
He makes grass grow for the cattle and plants for people to cultivate-bringing forth food from the earth: wine that gladdens human hearts, oil to make their faces shine, and bread that sustains their hearts.
Also, our prayer is this:
3John 1:3 Dear friend, I pray that you may enjoy good health and that all may go well with you, even as your soul is getting along well.
God bless you as you go forward in your health journey!
Mary has eaten a plant based whole food diet for 7 years now with excellent results. She recommends watching Forks over Knives or reading/watching The China Study.
We want to share a very easy plant based meal:
Simply bake or microwave a potato and serve it with black beans, corn and salsa. You can add a salad on the side and maybe put fruit in it or serve fruit as a desert.
A simple salad dressing: 1 part apple cider vinegar, 2 parts agave nectar and a sprinkle of freshly ground pepper.

Tuesday will be yoga at 5:30pm
Wednesday SoulfulMOTION at 5:30pm
Thursday yoga at noon.
Gym is open Tuesday and Wednesday 10-12
Facebook asked me what is on my mind today and it's quite a lot because the time has come to let you all know that Be Well Center will be closing as of May 25, 2023. It has been an incredible honor to be here and is difficult in some ways to think of closing, but the reasons are many and we feel the time is right.
Thank you for being a part of Be Well with us and may you continue to Be Well. Come and see us in May!

Happy New Year from Mary and Karen!
A verse for all of us from John 10:10 I have come that they may have life and have it to the full!
Did you make a New Year's resolution related to food?
By this time in January many who have made resolutions have broken them.
So often when we think about what we eat our thoughts are negative and we think about what we should not eat.
We would like to encourage ourselves to think positively about all the good food that is available and so good for us. It's never too late to take up your resolution again.
Some ideas: 1. Find recipes with healthy ingredients that you enjoy
2. Stock up on healthy foods
3. Have healthy food available and cup up(carrots,
celery, peppers, apples, etc.)
4. be thankful for healthy alternatives and make
healthy choices.
Here is a very easy and healthy dessert idea from Mary
Cut up apples, mix with cinnamon and a little sugar of your choosing. Microwave until apples are soft(about a minute) Sprinkle with granola and chopped walnuts. Enjoy!
