📝 From Dave’s Desk – Episode 11

Hey folks — and happy Christmas Eve from Dave’s Desk! As we head into the holidays, we hope you and your family, friends, and loved ones are able to spend this season in the way that feels right for you. 🤍
Today, Dave is taking a moment to look back on the year and share some highlights from our work together:

✨ Working alongside people with disabilities — including helping youth prepare for adult roles and greater independence. Recently, we hosted mock interviews at our offices with 50 youth participants and 60 employee volunteers.

🏠 Safer homes — last fiscal year, our Home Access team completed 458 home assessments, helping families make recommendations for safety and accessibility.

📋 Navigating benefits and systems — our Benefits Team has been busy assisting people with finding and applying for benefits, housing resources, and navigating complex systems.

🥫 Community support — we wrapped up a successful food drive over the past two months, and we’re incredibly grateful to everyone who contributed.

📅 Office Update: Our office is currently closed to the public and will reopen on January 5.
