As I hope you have seen, we would like to recognize our staff and the great work they do with the folks we work with. This is how ‘Moments of Hope’ came to be. If you know of a client or another staff who could share a Moment of Hope story here is the link: https://northlandcounseling.org/moments-of-hope/

Please take a few minutes to read the following story for December’s Moment of Hope.

Staff who are recognized will receive a small gift to acknowledge the HOPE they have given.
Here is our December Story:

Staff Recognized: Janet Miller

From: Anonymous

I wanted to take a moment to thank Janet Miller for her effort in keeping a former KWC member’s memory alive by coordinating Michael’s Elves. Michael’s elves is a program where families needing some extra magic through the holiday gives some ideas on what their children want for Christmas and community members can “adopt” their elf off of the tree at Kiesler Wellness Center. Janet has coordinated Michael’s Elves for 6 years. Thank you Janet for spreading hope!

Give to the Max Day is here! To donate: https://givemn.org/story/northlandspowerof1

The power of one.
At Northland Counseling Center, Inc., we meet people at some of the hardest moments of their lives.
🔹A parent overwhelmed by anxiety.
🔹A teen struggling with depression.
🔹An adult facing daily barriers due to serious mental illness.
🔹A family dealing with a crisis they never expected.

These are our neighbors, our co-workers, our friends. And every day, they walk through our doors looking for one thing—hope.

This year, more people than ever have turned to Northland Counseling Center for support. In our region, long distances, transportation barriers, limited resources, and provider shortages make mental health care difficult to access. But no matter the challenge, our mission remains the same:
Promote Hope and Recovery through Mutual Respect, Trust & Empowerment.

Your support is what makes that possible.

Because of donors like you, Northland Counseling Center is able to:
🔹Offer therapy and psychiatric services across multiple communities
🔹Provide community-based support through ARMHS, CTSS, CSP, and case management
🔹Respond to mental health crises quickly and safely
🔹Reduce financial barriers for individuals and families
🔹Reach people in rural areas who have nowhere else to turn

Every dollar truly matters. Every gift becomes part of someone’s turning point.

This Give to the Max Day, your donation helps ensure that no one in our communities faces mental health challenges alone. With your support, we can expand access, shorten wait times, strengthen our programs, and continue bringing hope closer to home.

Thank you for believing in the mission of Northland Counseling Center, Inc.—and for standing with the people we serve. This is the power of one!
