I became a doula to empower birthing people with support, knowledge, and confidence. Motherhood is my pride, joy, and legacy—OUR superpower! At Momma Dre's Birth Work, we believe that every birthing person deserves to feel seen, supported, and empowered throughout their journey into motherhood. A doula is a trained professional who provides emotional, physical, and informational support before, during, and after birth—helping you make informed choices, feel confident in your body, and experience a birth that aligns with your vision. I became a doula because I know firsthand what it feels like to go through pregnancy and birth without the kind of support you hoped for. Too often, we as birthing people aren’t taught enough about our bodies to truly understand what we’re experiencing—or what we’re capable of. Being a mother is my greatest pride, joy, and passion. It’s what fuels my work and my heart. I believe that our superpower isn’t something we have to find—it’s something we already are. Motherhood is not our weakness; it’s our strength, our legacy, and our light. Through this work, I aim to make my love for motherhood a legacy that empowers others—to show up for women and families in ways that honor their experiences, their cultures, and their choices. We are committed to providing culturally competent, inclusive care that reflects the beauty and diversity of the families we serve. Every birth story deserves to be met with compassion, respect, and understanding.
