We are pleased and excited to announce the 2026 changes for the Skookum Health Assistance Program. This change ensures that if you are on the waiting list for any of these services, you can begin accessing the services through Skookum without further delay, as they have been merged into Skookum.
The new and/or improved benefits are as follows:
LASIK Eye Surgery: $5,000 maximum – twice per lifetime (spousal exclusion)
Hearing Aids: $3,500 every 3 years (spousal exclusion)
Vision: NO service area restrictions
*100% vision exam – one per calendar year
*$185 frames – one per calendar year
* Lenses: single, bifocal, trifocal lenticular, progressive-100% with prescription
*Contacts in place of glasses – 100% - 1 year supply
Inpatient drug or alcohol treatment – 100% in-network
Dental (spousal exclusion):
*NO service area restrictions: $4,000 annual maximum per calendar year
Orthodontics: $6,000 lifetime maximum (spousal exclusion)
(As previously advertised, dental has been taken in-house by the Skookum team.)
