We took a busload of our residents to enjoy the Christmas Lights drive-through at the LMCU ballpark. We enjoyed it while listening and singing along to a Christmas carol playlist. Tis the season to be jolly!

In the mood for a Christmas miracle? We had the pleasure of taking our residents to see West Michigan Youth Ballet’s performance of The Nutcracker at the Forest Hills Fine Art Center. Unbeknownst to us, our resident, Bonnie, actually danced one of the most principle and challenging roles in her younger years: the Sugar Plum Fairy no less! Bonnie was able to recapture her dancing days with us while enjoying the performance from amazing seats. Volunteer moms of WMYB gifted our residents with nutcracker Christmas ornaments, and Bonnie was given a beautiful tiara and a celebratory rose with a photo op with the dancers. We were so thrilled to connect Bonnie to her past passion in such a meaningful way. Merry Christmas and “God bless us everyone.”
