We’re so grateful to have been part of Dig Pink Night in support of Ila’s senior project! 💗 Her event raised funds that she generously chose to donate back to Syringa Hospital to help support someone in our community currently fighting breast cancer — easing the financial burden during a difficult time.

Thank you, Ila, and thank you to everyone who came out and supported such a meaningful cause. Our small community continues to show up in big ways, and we couldn’t be more proud to be a part of it. 💕

We’re thrilled to share that Teresa Soderling, FNP, is now accepting patients at our Kooskia Clinic! Teresa will be seeing patients on Mondays and Fridays, bringing her experience and compassionate care to the Kooskia community.

We’re excited to introduce the newest member of our medical team at Syringa Hospital & Clinics — Hal Richins, MD!

Dr. Richins is now accepting new patients and looks forward to building lasting relationships within our community. He will also be caring for patients in our Emergency Department.

“I believe in treating patients the way I’d want to be treated,” Dr. Richins shared. “My goal is to help people make informed decisions about their health. I’m not forceful with care—I respect patient autonomy and focus on building trust.”

As a veteran, Dr. Richins has a special interest in veteran care and understands the unique challenges veterans may face when accessing healthcare.

He provides full-scope family medicine, caring for patients of all ages and addressing a wide range of health needs. Passionate about rural healthcare, Dr. Richins values the chance to know his patients personally and provide comprehensive, community-based care right here at home.

A huge thank you to the Grangeville High School volleyball team for inviting us to their Dig Pink game last night! We had such a great time talking with everyone and sharing important facts about breast cancer awareness. 💕
