🌬Despite the warm winds and lack of snow, you can still feel the presence of winter with naked trees, shorter days and holiday pressure.
❤️🩹Be careful. With the wrong mindset, these things can distract you from what this season is about.
🌌It's a time to allow yourself some reprieve from a busy schedule. Slow down enough to be fully present for your loved ones and reflect on this past year.
Look to nature for it's cue's. Those trees that appear drab and desolate have their restoration and preservation mode fully on! Nutrients from leaves they shed in the fall are now being absorbed by it's root system via soil. They are not spending energy on outward things, but use this time for inward nourishment.
✨️I hope you can join me for some inward nourishment on the Solstice! We will gather at The Elk's for cozy refreshments by & a hearty soup by yours truly.
🌙We'll begin as the day darkens/4:30pm and go to 6ish. A slow flow of yoga by candle light, honoring the return of the sun will be shared, then an extended savasana. (Insert hoots & hollars for that!🙌🏼)
🥣If this calls to you, please come! There's a reason you're feeling drawn. Cost will be $20. It helps to have notice you're coming, so let us know if you can. Wear cozy clothes, even bring a pillow if you like. Hope to see you!
