Officially this Monday August 2, Dr Mark Havera will be taking over my practice after 42 years. It has been a pleasure to serve the people of Granite City and the region all these years and we want to thank you for your love and support. Susan and I have truly been Blessed. The office will go back to full time, open Monday through Friday 8-5. I will still be working Monday and Tuesday for several more months. Dr Havera and staff are caring and friendly and will be there to continue your vision needs for years to come. Same location and phone number but we are doing some building remodeling so it may look a little crazy for a short time but will look fabulous very soon. Have a great day and God Bless.

After 42 years in practice, I have decided to retire. It is both a happy and sad time. We have enjoyed providing vision care to the Granite City area and appreciate your support all these. The great news is we have found a great Optometrist Dr Mark Havera to come and continue to give you the good care you deserve. He will be taking over around the end of July but I will still be around some for several more months after the change. We don’t have the exact details for future exams but know the office will be around for many more years. Thank you for all your support these many years.

Due to the COVID 19 virus we are operating on a limited schedule. On most weeks we are open Monday 9-1, Tuesday 1-5:45 and Thursday 9-4:45. Please call the office when you arrive at 931-2700 so we can try to limit the number of people in the office at one time. At this time masks are required. Thank you for your patience. God Bless

Due to the COVID-19 virus and CDC Guidelines I will be closing the office effective Monday March 23 and will not reopen until it is safe. I will be in the office this Friday and Saturday( March 20 and 21) from 8:30-Noon to provide time for people who may have glasses or contacts in the office to pick up. After that it will be on emergency only. Thank you for your patience at this difficult time.
