⭐️ 5-Star Friday ⭐️

Kind words like this mean the world. Collaboration and trust are such important parts of the work we do, and it’s always an honor to support clients and connect with other providers in the community.

If you’ve had a positive experience with us, we’d love to hear about it. Your reviews help others find supportive care when they need it most.

More healing spaces under one roof 💛

Continuing our highlights of the women-owned businesses inside the Balanced Roots building ... Oak & Echo Counseling PLLC, founded by Cameron Short, offers trauma-informed therapy for adults navigating anxiety, grief, life transitions, and the lingering echoes of past experiences.

Using approaches such as EMDR, Oak & Echo Counseling supports clients in releasing what no longer serves them and reconnecting with their inner strength.

Okay, we’re just going to say it…

Asking for reviews makes us a little squirmy 😅
But we know how much it matters.

When someone is looking for support, they’re often carrying a lot. Reading a real experience from another human can be the thing that helps them feel safe enough to reach out.

We never take it lightly that this work is personal, sensitive, and layered. It is such a privilege to walk alongside you 🤍

If you’ve worked with us and feel comfortable sharing, we would truly appreciate it. Even something simple. Your words might be the bridge for someone else.

And as always — thank you for trusting Balanced Roots with your care. We love what we do, and we’re grateful we get to do it here!

Some weeks the juggle feels real.
So grateful for the time I get with my family—and the time I get to spend supporting the amazing people who trust me with their care. That balance means everything 🤍

We hope you’ve been enjoying getting to know us better.
More to come ✨

✨ Motivational Monday ✨

Just like anything we learned growing up — reading, riding a bike, tying our shoes — repetition helps the body and brain get better over time.

A few simple ways to practice calm today:
📓 jot down a few things you’re grateful for
🎶 hum or sing along to a favorite song
🌬 slow breathing — try inhaling for 4, exhaling for 5

Small moments like these send gentle signals of safety to your body. Over time, those little reps can help your system settle more easily — and that often means less tension and more ease overall.

If your body has been asking for a little more support lately, we’re here to help you figure out what it needs.

Well… that was a quick read 😂

A little humor to kick off Women’s History Month — but also a reminder that women’s health has historically been under-researched, under-taught, and often misunderstood.

At Balanced Roots, we’re here for the conversations, the education, and the care that help women better understand their bodies and feel supported in them.

Here’s to strong, informed women — and the people who support them 💛

During Black History Month, we’re talking about the health stories that often go unseen 🖤

Eating disorders affect people of every race and background — yet Black individuals are less likely to be screened, diagnosed, or connected to care. Not because they don’t experience them, but because bias and stereotypes still shape who gets supported.
Healing belongs to everyone ✨

If you or someone you love is looking for support, we're here to help.

✨ Fact: Pelvic health is about balance.

Some people need strength.
Some need relaxation.
Most need coordination between the two.

Your pelvic floor has to contract and release to support bladder control, bowel function, sexual comfort, and everyday movement.

There’s no universal exercise — and the wrong strategy can keep symptoms stuck. Individual care matters.

Curious what your body actually needs?
We offer FREE consultations to point you in the right direction.

✨ Space Spotlight ✨
Balanced Roots: Women’s Pelvic Health

This room centers pelvic health first, while also supporting disordered eating recovery and nervous system regulation — because your body systems don’t live in separate boxes, and neither does healing.

Soft light, grounded colors, and intentional design create a space where your body can exhale a little. Whether we’re addressing pelvic symptoms, reconnecting with body trust, or working toward regulation, this room exists to support the whole you.

✨ You don’t have to push through discomfort alone. Support can feel calm, collaborative, and empowering.
We'd be honored to be part of your healing journey 🫶
