🐶💙 Oakley’s Big (Unexpected) Day! 💙🐶

Oakley, our beloved Great Dane, came to work this morning with no idea he was on the surgery schedule 😅 Today he had his knees injected with PRP (platelet-rich plasma) and also received a dental cleaning — a two-for-one spa day if you ask us!

The PRP injections are part of his arthritis management. Oakley had the same treatment about a year ago, and to truly see how effective it was, we made a big (and slightly scary) decision: we took him off all NSAIDs, pain medications, and joint supplements over the past year. For an 8-year-old, 160-pound dog, that was a gamble — but Oakley crushed it. 💪

Over the year, he played more, limped less, and stayed comfortable without additional medications. We’ve seen similarly great success in other dogs who’ve received this treatment, with results often lasting even longer in younger and smaller dogs.

Now with refreshed joints and fresh breath, Oakley will be back to running, playing, and supervising the clinic in no time. 🦴✨
