We had a VERY special guest in the RVM shop today. A man who has worked as a seating specialist/technician for many years and who specialized in pediatric seating.

Gary Flame offered myself and Tommy a glimpse into his wealth of knowledge of advanced seating applications.

What a HUGE honor it was to have the privilege to learn from someone who has worked along side and has even trained some of the very best in our industry.

Although retired Gary stays active with his many hobbies including fabricating a portable saw mill utilizing powerchair motors and their electronics. To say he's a mechanical wizard is actually an understatement. He's a really down to earth guy who loves to laugh and has the kind of heart for helping people that I recognize.

We hope Gary will consider offering MORE classes at the shop.
We know he can disassemble/rebuild a complex rehab chair blindfolded, but us mortals need to learn the ways of the Jedi master.

Today we donated one of these great Arjo Minuet 2 fully electric beds to someone in need. Thanks to our local non profit HASL in Grants Pass for referring them to Rogue Valley Mobility LLC.
We are always willing to go above and beyond for the community.
