We’re excited to invite our community to celebrate the next chapter of Encompass at our New Location Open House! We’re especially excited to be settling into our new home at the Grants Pass Vitality Center, alongside our community partners at Heartland AcademyDance Studio. This shared space reflects our commitment to connection, creativity, and community collaboration.

❄️ Big thank you to The Rrrink! ❄️

Program participants and staff had an absolute blast on the ice today. From first-time skaters finding their balance to confident gliders doing lap after lap, it was a day full of laughter, encouragement, and joy.

We’re so grateful for community spaces that are welcoming, inclusive, and make experiences like this possible. Days like today are exactly why community connection matters so much to us.

💛 A truly incredible act of generosity 💛

An anonymous supporter made a donation that left us absolutely speechless —
two Fender acoustic guitars, three ukuleles, kalimba, tuning forks, shell bells, and a full instrument stand for our new space.

Because of this gift, our music classes are about to level up in the most beautiful way. Music has already become a powerful part of our supports— you see confidence grow, emotions released, and people finding their voice in ways words sometimes can’t. Now we get to offer even more opportunities for creativity, rhythm, collaboration, and joy.

This donation directly supports our Encompass Skills Empowerment Program, where participants explore real-life skills through hands-on, meaningful experiences — from music and art to cooking, community connection, and beyond. These aren’t just activities… they’re moments of growth, pride, and self-expression.

🎉🔥 New year. Big moves. BIG things happening. 🔥🎉

Encompass Person Centered is moving!

Starting February 1st, we’re relocating to a new space that brings us even closer to participants’ favorite parts of downtown Grants Pass. While we already value being centrally located, this move puts everyday destinations—shops, restaurants, and activities—even more within easy walking distance, supporting meaningful, natural community involvement.

The layout also allows us to use our space more efficiently based on what we’ve learned over the past few years. While this isn’t our permanent home, it’s a great fit as we continue searching for the right space to purchase and grow into long-term.

📩 Providers and team members: emails will be going out soon with important updates, including program time changes and revised drop-off/pick-up procedures.

The holiday season fills up fast.
Family plans, school events, work parties, travel, traditions — before you know it, December turns into a blur. And we never want our staff to feel like celebrating with us is “one more thing” to squeeze into an already chaotic month.

So this year, we did something different.
We brought everyone together early for our first Gathering of Gratitude .

We treated our DSA team to dinner, drinks, dessert, and a night where the only thing anyone had to focus on was relaxing and being present. No schedules. No responsibilities. Just warmth, laughter, and people who genuinely enjoy being together. We wanted it to be a thank-you, a pause, and a moment of peace before things get wild.

As leadership, we say it often — but nights like this make it real:
You are the reason this place works.
You are the reason people feel safe, supported, and seen.
And you are the reason we can build something this meaningful together.

So, to the Encompass Person Centered Day supports team:
Thank you for the compassion you bring.
Thank you for the humor that keeps us going.
Thank you for the care you show — to participants and to each other.

We’re grateful for you — not just during the holidays, but all year long.
