Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Office Manager/Administrative Assistant to oversee the daily operations of our office. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of office management practices. This role requires someone with excellent communication abilities, exceptional organizational skills, and a knack for multitasking in a fast-paced environment. This person will have the ability to transfer from office manager to caregiver in moments. We are seeking someone who is wanting to be out in clients home part time to help build the relationship with our clients. The right candidate will also be willing to build relationships with other local agencies, communities and our local hospitals on a weekly basis.
Duties
• Supervise and manage office staff, providing training and development opportunities to enhance team performance.
• Conduct new client assessments.
• Conduct client quarterly and state required reviews.
• Oversee schedule management, ensuring that appointments and meetings are efficiently organized.
• Provide caregiving services regularly.
• Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts to ensure the best services for the office.
• Handle human resources functions including , hiring new employees, managing staff trainings, employee onboarding, and maintaining personnel records.
• Plan and coordinate events, meetings, and other activities to foster team engagement.
• Ensure effective communication within the team and with external stakeholders through excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills.
• Manage office phone systems, greeting visitors, and handling inquiries.
• Organize filing systems for both physical and electronic documents to ensure easy access to information.
• Attending Monthly Marketing events.
• Conducting weekly Marketing check ins.
Experience
• Proven experience in office management or administrative roles with a focus on clerical tasks.
• Experience in medical office management is a plus but not required.
• Strong background in team management with demonstrated supervisory experience.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a busy environment.

Wow 2025 is coming to an end and Sunshine In Home Care and our staff want to wish everyone a happy and amazing New Year.

2025 has seen some amazing additions to our company. We joined the Curry county community, joined in the holiday festivities in both Josephine and Curry county, from decorating christmas trees for a sipent auction, joining our assessited living communities christmas tree program, and joining in the Christmas parade.

Sunshine In Home Care is happy to announce that our new office location in Brookings is officially open and here to help your family and loved ones in their homes. Come down and meet with us at the bi-annual Josephine County Senior Fair. They will be honoring our veterans with a ceremony at 12pm and hot dog and drinks for all visitors. Sunshine will be hosting two classes the first one will be at 9am that will talk about how we as an In Home Care agency can help you or your loved ones through Hospice and what each agency does together as a team. Our second class will be at 1pm and we will have a guest speaker from the White City VA and we will talk about a program that the VA offers to our veterans for help in their homes. It’s going to be a fun filled day. Stop by our table we will be there from 9am-3pm to answer any questions you may have about what having In Home Care services might do for you. We look forward to seeing each and everyone from the community there tomorrow.
