We are so grateful to the governor's Regional Solutions team for Southern Oregon for stopping by the Youth Enrichment Center to learn more about our programs and facilities. We always appreciate the chance to spread the hard work of our staff, especially as it relates to solving challenges within our community.

Playing a quick round on our MultiBall setup was just a bonus.

According to the state's website, these teams set regional priorities and work together to move projects forward.
"Regional Coordinators, who are embedded in their communities and represent the Governor in the field, work with Advisory Committees and Teams to ensure effective state government support to local partners and serve as a conduit between the Governor and local communities."

The Fall Family Festival with River Valley Church - Oregon was a blast. We are so grateful to play a role in creating a safe, fun, and family-friendly event for the community. To the thousands who stopped by to pick up some candy or play some games, thank you.

We want to thank Sunny's Second Hand Store for lending us a piece to complete the clown portion of the spooky maze.

Can't wait to do it again next year!

Our Preschool class at the Youth Enrichment Center took a trip to the Fort Vannoy Farm recently for a fun fall field trip.

Visiting a pumpkin patch allows children to engage all their senses—touching pumpkins, smelling fresh air and hay, seeing vibrant fall colors, and hearing farm sounds. This immersive experience deepens their understanding of concepts like size, weight, color, and seasons.

A trip to the patch includes walking, exploring, climbing on hay bales, and carrying pumpkins—all of which support gross motor development. It also gives children a chance to move in open spaces and connect physical activity with outdoor fun.

Empowering our community in Grants Pass

As the nation’s leading nonprofit committed to helping people and communities to learn, grow and thrive, our contributions are both far-reaching and intimate—from influencing our nation’s culture during times of profound social change to the individual support we provide an adult learning to read.

By empowering young people to reach their full potential, improving individual and community well-being and giving back and inspiring action in our communities, the Y ensures that everyone has the opportunity to become healthier, more confident, connected and secure.
