We had an amazing turnout for the Great American Smokeout (GASO) on November 20th, 2025!

This annual event encourages people to quit to***co for a day, make a pledge to quit for good, or support a friend or family member on their quit journey.

Everyone who turned in their to***co or v**e products received a Quit Kit to kickstart a healthier, smoke-free life — and we’re excited to share that Josephine County Prevention & Jackson County Prevention handed out 25 Quit Kits, and Curry County Prevention had an awesome turnout as well!

Our goal for 2026 is 75 Quit Kits — and we know we can make it happen!

Together, we’ve got this!🚭

All Oregonians receiving SNAP to get full November benefits!

The Oregon Department of Human Services (ODHS) has issued 100% of November SNAP food benefits to all eligible Oregonians on November 7, 2025. This means all SNAP participants should see their full November benefits loaded to their Oregon EBT cards as of Friday, November 7, even if they normally receive benefits later in the month. For more information, please visit: AllCareHealth.com/snap-food-benefits

We’ve heard some people are worried that the Supreme Court’s order means they can’t use their EBT cards or that their November SNAP benefits will be taken away. This is not true. Once benefits are on your Oregon EBT card, they belong to you! You can keep using them as usual.

If you believe you should have received November SNAP benefits or a different amount than what you got, please reach out to your local ODHS office (https://bit.ly/ODHSoffices) or call 800-699-9075 (Monday – Friday, 7 a.m. – 6 p.m. Pacific Time). Keep in mind, federal changes to SNAP benefits also started this month, which may be causing you to see a different amount than you usually do. You can read about the federal changes to SNAP here: https://apps.oregon.gov/oregon-newsroom/OR/ODHS/Posts/Post/odhs-begins-sending-notices-oct15-about-federal-snap-changes-under-hr1

One more thing - please keep applying, renewing, and reporting any changes that may impact your benefits. This will help make sure you get your SNAP benefits faster once we can start sending them again!

If you get SNAP (food) benefits you might not receive your November benefits on time because of the federal government shutdown. Regular and emergency SNAP benefits can’t be sent out until the government reopens.
