This one is hard for me to post, and debated over the last several days as he is so close to my heart. I've never had grandparents on either side, and met this man 5 years ago when I took gifts to the retirement home he lived at. Instead of taking a gift he jumped in my car, and we went to the homeless camp as he wanted to play Santa, and hand out beanies to the homeless. I didn't know if I had just kidnapped him, but we had a blast, and have talked everyday since. We have dinner together once a week, and he started his own program called warm hearts warm hands❤️ in honor of his son that was homeless in Portland, and died on the streets. He buys several hundreds of gloves every winter to hand out to anyone in need. I recieved a call he had been hit by car, and heading into surgery. He is 97, and praise God he is ok. He has more energy then most in their 30s, and can outwalk me by miles. He walks from his place over by the high school to Riverside Park then to the camps a few times a week. I wanted to post as many people know him in the community, and love him as I do. My favorite Christmas gift is that Gene Kelly is still here as God still isn't finished with him, and neither am I. HE WANTED TO THANK THE COMMUNITY FOR HIS GIFTS 🎁

Everyone has a story, and after 30 mins talking with her she is a survivor of cancer 3 times, and was homeless for 3 years lost everything. Rebuilding, and was so blessed to be given gifts you the community donated. She wanted to say THANK YOU!

Senior Gift Giving is having a wrapping party TODAY at 4pm at Magic Donuts And Coffee we need more wrappers & people to deliver gifts next week. BE APART OF A GREAT CAUSE

1 MORE WEEK TO DONATE GIFTS & CARDS FOR THE SENIORS!!!! EVEN IF ITS ITEMS FOR THE DOLLAR STORE. WE HAVE AROUND 500 GIFTS NOW, AND LAST YEAR WE BROUGHT IN 6,000. WE WILL POST A CASH APP OR VEMNO FOR ANYONE THAT WANTS TO DONATE MONEY SO WE CAN BUY CASES OF ITEMS. WE APPRECIATE YOU ALL. WRAPPING PARTY THIS WED Dec 17th at Magic Donut time will be annouced tomorrow

Senior Gift Giving 2025'. We only have around 300 gifts that we have wrapped at this time. If you can make a card, a craft or buy a item please do so the seniors in our community can be blessed with a gift. Many don't have family or very low income. There are lots of items at the dollar store, and if everyone bought one item we would be able to gift every senior on our list! Also we will have another Gift wrapping event we welcome you to come also to deliver gifts in our community ❤️ 😀
