Dr. Deanna Elliott realized she had a gift of helping people understand their own body and knew she wanted to become a healthcare provider. She obtained her Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy from Western University of Health Sciences in 2011 and received her Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology at Sonoma State in 2008. Deanna has been utilizing a hands-on approach to help her clients heal since 2011. She has worked in a variety of settings in the Physical Therapy world both in Oregon and Wyoming including Neuro Rehabilitation, Acute Care, Skilled Nursing Home Facilities, Home Health, Orthopedics and School-based programs. In 2018 she started Centered Physical Therapy & Wellness, where Physical Therapy is integrated in a holistic manner to help heal the body at the root of its problem. Specializing in women’s health, she has dedicated her time to helping mothers restore balance prenatally, during pregnancy and postpartum. Although her passion resides in pre-conception, where “all the magic” happens. Deanna is Postural Restoration Certified Practitioner 2020, where she is formally trained through the Postural Restoration Institute. This technique helps you re-pattern your nervous system and address pain globally in order to get down to the root cause of the issue. She furthered her education in order to provide a Functional Medicine approach to her clients through a licensed program with the Institute for Functional Medicine. This approach allows Deanna to address the root cause issues her clients struggle with and fine-tune their gut health. Deanna loves working with postpartum women, as she has struggled and recovered from her own physical and health issues after her 3 daughters.

Most pregnant moms are told to do more to prepare for birth.

👎🏻More exercises.
👎🏻More movement.
👎🏻More “get your body ready” routines.

But here’s the truth I see with my clients…

All of that can leave moms feeling:
• pressured
• overwhelmed
• like their body isn’t doing enough

And that’s the problem.

Because birth isn’t about doing more
it’s about being in alignment…physically.

One of my clients went from feeling like she needed a long list of exercises…To preparing her body for birth through simple, intentional alignment work that actually supported her body.

đź’ś Not hours of movements
đź’ś Not forcing positions
💜 Not trying to “make” anything happen

Instead, we focused on:
✨ Creating true space in her pelvis
✨ Aligning her ribcage + breath for pushing
✨ Helping her body feel safe enough to open

Because when your body is aligned…
đź’“baby can move more easily
đź’“your nervous system can soften
💓birth doesn’t have to feel forced

Birth prep shouldn’t feel like a workout plan.

It should feel supportive, safe, and intuitive.

If what you’ve been told to do doesn’t feel right in your body… trust that.

There’s a different way to prepare, one that works with your body, not against it.

Comment BIRTH and I’ll share what I recommend instead 💛

[$37] Have a Low Pain Birth Guaranteed

Mama, if you’re heading into birth, already feeling uncomfortable in your body or nervous because of a past experience, it’s completely valid to feel that way! But it’s also something you don’t want to ignore because when labor begins your body will amplify whatever patterns are already in your body.

What if there was a simple way to start calming your system, reduce that tension and prepare for a smoother birth now, for less than what you would spend on a few things in your Amazon cart?

We saved a humming bird!!

If you’re pregnant and tired of being told “constipation is just part of it”

or you’re forcing down magnesium, fiber, prunes, and stool softeners just to maybe go…

Then I’m willing to bet you’re doing one or more of the following:

✔️Bloated, uncomfortable, and backed up for days, which often isn’t because you need more fiber, but because your digestion has slowed and your nervous system is stuck in protection mode.
✔️Afraid to eat certain foods because you’re worried it’ll make things worse, leaving you frustrated, confused, and constantly second-guessing every meal.
✔️Straining, bracing, or feeling pressure in your pelvis, which spirals into anxiety about your body, your baby, and whether this is “normal”…and leaves you feeling defeated and disconnected from your body.

I can help, as a Functional Medicine Physical Therapist, I’ve helped 100s of mom during pregnancy and post feel their best.

Before we dive in, be sure to follow for pregnancy support.

Most pregnant women are told constipation is inevitable.

“That hormones slow digestion.”
“That your body just has to deal with it.”

But here’s the part no one talks about.

Constipation isn’t just a gut issue, it’s a nervous system issue.

When your nervous system doesn’t feel safe, digestion slows. Blood flow shifts away from the gut. The diaphragm, ribcage, and pelvic floor stop moving the way they’re designed to.

🤷🏼‍♀️So you add more fiber.
🤷🏼‍♀️More supplements.
🤷🏼‍♀️More effort.

But the problem…

Those solutions are non-specific. They don’t address how your body is adapting to pregnancy. They don’t teach your nervous system how to let go.

So here’s what you need to know:

When we support the nervous system, restore diaphragmatic movement, and create safety in the body, digestion improves automatically.

So if you’re ready to stop believing constipation is “just part of it”…

If you want relief without forcing, straining, or guessing…

Most mamas underestimate how much guidance and preparation it takes to feel confident and in control during birth.

As someone who’s helped hundreds of women navigate birth with less fear and more power… here’s what I wish I knew before becoming a mom:

âś… Choose your birthing positions ahead of time
âś… Train your mindset so you can handle the unexpected
âś… Know the tools that actually help during labor
âś… Get your partner ready to support you exactly how you need

The reality is, you’re not just preparing for labor you’re preparing for the experience of a lifetime.

If you want to feel supported, empowered, and ready for your birth without the overwhelm my Calm Birth Blueprint shows you step-by-step how.

Comment “BIRTH” and I’ll send you the link to you so you can feel confident and in control on your big day.

Your pelvis is NOT too small, don’t let them fool you!

Many of my clients tell me after the fact how their birth was problematic and how they will avoid that experience again at all costs.

Have you ever noticed, it’s always about the baby position…

Almost like the baby has some mal-intent of not getting in the right position.

The truth…

The baby is just following a pattern that is instilled in the mother’s body.

But, there is good news!

With some simple repositioning techniques, you can move your body into a position that allows baby to fall into place.

So you don’t have to

đź’śLabor for hours with baby not progressing
đź’śEndure back labor that is unbearable
đź’śThe baby can spend less time in the birth canal, which means you get to hold your baby sooner!

I’ve helped hundreds of women around the world feel completely fix their alignment to have the birth of their dreams by fixing their alignment. (Yes online too!)

But first, you need a proper assessment to correct the alignment of your hips + pelvis + ribcage.

Don’t let them tell you the baby is too big, it’s too close to your due date or you just need to push harder.

Instead, prep your body gently with proven techniques to allow you to go from hours of pushing and lingering postpartum pain to pushing for minutes with not postpartum complications.
