Dr. Deanna Elliott realized she had a gift of helping people understand their own body and knew she wanted to become a healthcare provider. She obtained her Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy from Western University of Health Sciences in 2011 and received her Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology at Sonoma State in 2008. Deanna has been utilizing a hands-on approach to help her clients heal since 2011. She has worked in a variety of settings in the Physical Therapy world both in Oregon and Wyoming including Neuro Rehabilitation, Acute Care, Skilled Nursing Home Facilities, Home Health, Orthopedics and School-based programs. In 2018 she started Centered Physical Therapy & Wellness, where Physical Therapy is integrated in a holistic manner to help heal the body at the root of its problem. Specializing in women’s health, she has dedicated her time to helping mothers restore balance prenatally, during pregnancy and postpartum. Although her passion resides in pre-conception, where “all the magic” happens. Deanna is Postural Restoration Certified Practitioner 2020, where she is formally trained through the Postural Restoration Institute. This technique helps you re-pattern your nervous system and address pain globally in order to get down to the root cause of the issue. She furthered her education in order to provide a Functional Medicine approach to her clients through a licensed program with the Institute for Functional Medicine. This approach allows Deanna to address the root cause issues her clients struggle with and fine-tune their gut health. Deanna loves working with postpartum women, as she has struggled and recovered from her own physical and health issues after her 3 daughters.

Here’s my heart — wide open for all to see.

I have a story that’s been written through both pain and grace… and a gift from God that allows me to help women heal from the inside out.

My journey hasn’t been easy. There were moments I wanted to give up — when the weight of life felt too heavy and the path too unclear. But something deep inside me kept whispering, keep going.

So I did. I stayed curious. I kept asking questions. I kept believing there was more — more peace, more purpose, more healing.

I started this journey in 2015, not knowing where it would lead. Ten years later, I’ve built a family, opened my own wellness center, and now spend my days mothering, healing, and helping others return home to themselves.

This isn’t just what I do — it’s who I am. A woman who refused to quit. A woman who turned her pain into purpose. A woman called to help others do the same.

Isn’t she pretty 🤩

Your Back Pain Isn’t Just Physical

If you’ve been stretching, strengthening, foam rolling, and still can’t shake your back pain — it’s not because you’re not working hard enough.

It’s because your nervous system is stuck in survival mode.

When your body is under constant stress — mental, emotional, or physical — your muscles tighten, your breathing becomes shallow, and your core stops communicating properly. Your body holds on, bracing for impact… and that tension shows up as pain.

Here’s the truth most people miss:

💜You can’t heal a stressed body with more effort.

💜You have to help your body feel safe.

A nervous system reset — using breathwork, grounding, and PRI techniques — teaches your body to finally let go of the chronic tension it’s been protecting you with.

When your system shifts out of “fight or flight” and into “rest and restore,” your muscles unwind, your spine decompresses, and pain begins to fade — often without another rep, stretch, or adjustment.

You don’t need to push harder.
You need to feel safer. 💜

Start with a foundation to make your body feel safer. SHOES! Link in bio
