Centered Physical Therapy & Wellness LLC I help moms leverage the power of BREATH. ✨Eliminate Pain✨Increase Strength ✨Thrive Postpartum

Dr. Deanna Elliott realized she had a gift of helping people understand their own body and knew she wanted to become a healthcare provider. She obtained her Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy from Western University of Health Sciences in 2011 and received her Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology at Sonoma State in 2008. Deanna has been utilizing a hands-on approach to help her clients heal since 2011. She has worked in a variety of settings in the Physical Therapy world both in Oregon and Wyoming including Neuro Rehabilitation, Acute Care, Skilled Nursing Home Facilities, Home Health, Orthopedics and School-based programs. In 2018 she started Centered Physical Therapy & Wellness, where Physical Therapy is integrated in a holistic manner to help heal the body at the root of its problem. Specializing in women’s health, she has dedicated her time to helping mothers restore balance prenatally, during pregnancy and postpartum. Although her passion resides in pre-conception, where “all the magic” happens. Deanna is Postural Restoration Certified Practitioner 2020, where she is formally trained through the Postural Restoration Institute. This technique helps you re-pattern your nervous system and address pain globally in order to get down to the root cause of the issue. She furthered her education in order to provide a Functional Medicine approach to her clients through a licensed program with the Institute for Functional Medicine. This approach allows Deanna to address the root cause issues her clients struggle with and fine-tune their gut health. Deanna loves working with postpartum women, as she has struggled and recovered from her own physical and health issues after her 3 daughters.

Alignment is not the fix most busy moms are told to look for.

Strength can be helpful for some, but mama, if you’re stuck in survival mode, barely have time to yourself, and pour your whole heart into your family, there’s something more important to understand first.

Your body is not weak, you grew entire humans from scratch!

Let’s see if this sounds like you…

💜 You move through your day on autopilot, holding everyone together, rarely checking in with how your body feels
💜 Your body hurts all the time, when you try to rest it gets worse and your brain goes crazy. And you’ve been told it’s just part of being a mom.
💜 You’ve tried everything…meditation, prayer, workouts, stretching routines, but it never lasts. Life interrupts, exhaustion takes over, and your body falls right back into the same patterns.

Somewhere along the way, you were led to believe pain and tension meant you needed to try harder.

In reality, it often means your body is out of alignment and doing its best to protect you.

You do not need to do more.

You need your body to find alignment again. And truly feel.

Your body doesn’t hurt because you are weak. It hurts because it’s been organizing itself around stress, overload, and survival for too long.

I’ve helped hundreds of women around the world feel better in their bodies now, not by adding more, but by helping their bodies come back into alignment from the inside out.

Bottom line, your body needs better information and the ability to feel supported so alignment can happen naturally.

Comment SHOES and I’ll show you where to start.

The strength you’re craving cannot be accessed through pushing through and doing more.

Sorry my over achievers, my OCD moms, my A++ and people pleasers.

You need to slow the F down.

But more importantly, you need to FEEL MORE!

I’m willing to bet you’re doing one or more of the following:

✔️ Blaming your inability to pick things up from the ground on your body being out of shape.
✔️ Or you love the feeling of the stretching feeling but it doesn’t last more than a day.
✔️ Literally don’t have time to go to the gym because you are a full time EVERYTHING to everyone else.

What’s worse, when you do ask for help, the doctors tell you “it’s just in your head” or “your labs are fine.”

Here’s the truth no one says out loud:

Your body doesn’t change because it understands.

It changes when it FEELS.

It changes when it feels SAFE.

If you are anything like my clients, you have been told your pain is in your head and you begin to believe them because nothing seems to help.

I can help.

As a Physical Therapist and Functional Medicine specialist, I’ve helped hundreds of moms regulate their nervous system inside the chaos of motherhood, not by doing more, but by working with their body’s protection patterns instead of fighting them.

By rebalancing your body, your strength comes back.

Not because you work harder, but because you got specific and smart to YOUR needs.

If you’re ready to stop believing the intense exercise program is your ticket to a body that feels good and you are not weak, you just need to get the alignment right.

Barefoot shoes might be great for some, but mama, you are stuck in survival mode, barely have time to yourself and pour your whole heart out to your family, there’s something you might want to consider.

Your feet give you access to a sense of calm if you want it.

Let’s see if this sounds like you…
1. You spend most of your time barefoot in the house, distracted with feeding, dressing and shuttling kids, that you don’t even think about your feet.
2. Your body hurts, when you get up, when you sit down, when you put the kids to bed, when you do your chores, but your told that “it’s just part of the process of being a mom.”
3. You have tried meditation, prayer, workout + stretching routines, and likely you feel great when you do, but it’s only a matter of time before a kid needs you, the schedule changes or your just plain tired and you are back to ground zero.
4. You have been led to believe that the tension in your body is because you are weak and don’t exercise.

The number of clients this month I have seen who are disconnected from the their bodies, but have bought into the idea that they are weak and need to do more is mind blowing. 🤯

You do not need to do more

You need a proper assessment a unique custom made session about YOU.

Your body needs to feel your body, so you can restore balance from the inside out.

If you struggle with the need to “get in shape” or “work on my body” but don’t have time.

I have helped 100s of women all over the globe feel good in their body NOW without adding more or “staying consistent” with a program.

Bottom line your body needs more information and the ability to feel safe from the inside out.

And it starts with the feet.

Don’t believe me, comment SHOES and I’ll show you how and you can see for yourself.
