First festival/crowd, first bubble machine, first loud speakers, first people in motorcycle helmets, first food trucks/generators, and first fireworks. Big night for the baby boy and he rocked everything!

And....Mr. Finch weighs in at 51.6 lb/23.41 kg at 19.5 weeks old! We swear his parents are normal sized! Lol

Finch has a Vet appointment today! Get those weight guesses in! At his last vet appointment 6 March at 15 weeks he was 37.8 lbs (17.15 kg).

He is 19.5 weeks now.

Today Finch and I went to visit a good friend of mine who is recovering after major surgery and complications. In true Golden Retriever fashion she was an immediate best friend to him on their first meeting. She was also kind enough to give him a walking lesson around her wheelchair, he had no concerns at all! At least not about the wheelchair he's still a mama's boy and turned into a sled dog at the end trying to get back to me.

What breed is Finch?
Finch is a well bred, purebred Golden Retriever from fully health tested parents.

Why doesn't he look like your typical American Golden Retriever?
While a Golden Retriever is a Golden Retriever and the breed standards are very similar there are key differences in structure, color shade preferences and more between most American bred and European bred Golden's. Finch is from mostly European lines and more closely resembles the FCI standard.
