Simply, we are here to support the ENTIRE family experience life, health, healing, & well-being at their very best (or close to it) for as long as possible.

Yes, we help kiddos, moms, dads, everyone ‘crest the mountain top’ that is a health challenge.

Unlike other healthcare providers we don’t stop there!😎

Why? Well because we know there is more to life, more to your kiddos, and yourself than the presence of a symptom or the lack thereof.

We know that symptoms are a part of life and if we are not adapting to them as optimally as we can then THAT is the true challenge.

We know that the ebbs & flows of life are inevitably going to come and go, but how we flow with them is truly what matters.

Lastly, we know that we were ALL gifted an amazing ability to adapt, heal, & thrive. Which is expressed THROUGH the nervous system that is impacted so mightily with each. and. every. adjustment 🙌🏼

These are some of the most common topics we talk about inside LUMINOUS ✨

We are good, VERY good, at what we do but that still doesn’t grant us a magic work around to how the body was designed.

Health, healing, and well-being is a journey, NOT a destination. It is a culmination of all the things we are taking part in (or not) that grant us our ability to express our health.

If we have challenges in the form of aches, pains, or symptoms that are keeping us from expressing our highest levels of health THE BEST thing to know is that they likely arrived AFTER days, weeks, months, or (most often for adults) years of compensation & protective measures.

This affords us the insight that our return to THRIVING health is likely not going to be something that happens overnight. The body, the nervous system needs adequate time to ‘unravel’ those compensations & protective mechanisms that have become “stuck on” overtime.

The BEST part and true wonder of it all is that YOU (and your children) are LITERALLY designed to do this. The same intelligence that created you from 2 cells never left.

It's an important distinction to make🧐

It's not about making certain things right or other things wrong. It has SO much to do with simply honoring the body in what it is designed to do, naturally.

As parents, how we choose to interact with our kiddos in terms of their health is imprinting them with the thoughts & actions that will shape how they view their body, health, healing, and ability to thrive!

It is something we strive to do each and every day at LUMINOUS. To help parents, children, and families gain more TRUST in their ability to not only heal, but to THRIVE!!!

SUPPORT v SUPPRESSION

Let’s just get it out in the open first… in the majority of cases our kiddos need more SUPPORT not more symptom suppression!

What does that mean? Supporting them and their body in what it does naturally instead of suppressing it with medications.

Easiest example is a fever 🔥 Allowing a fever to run its course naturally without trying to artificially reduce it with over the counter meds is FAR better.

A. The fever is the intelligent response from the body! It’s not there on accident

B. Allowing the immune system to respond without medication STRENGTHENS its ability and INCREASES its resiliency for the future

C. Additional chiropractic adjustments directly SUPPORT the nervous system & immune system to ‘stay on the job’ 😎
