Cinnamon Roll Oatmeal
Ingredients
- 5 teaspoons cinnamon
- 1 tbsp coconut oil (melted)
- 1 1/2 tbsp coconut sugar
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1/2 cup gluten free rolled oats
- 1/8 tsp sea salt
- 1/4 cup unsweetened applesauce
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
Preparation
Preheat the oven to 375F degrees.
Combine all ingredients for the oatmeal and mix together very well. Set aside.
In a separate bowl mix together all ingredients for cinnamon swirl.
Pour half of the oatmeal mixture in a ramekin.
Scoop half of the cinnamon mixture on top of it and swirl it through the oatmeal with a toothpick.
Pour the remaining half of oatmeal on top and spoon the remaining cinnamon mixture on top in a swirl pattern.
Bake for 20 minutes. Then broil for 3-5 minutes (until edges start to brown).
